He carried with him a set of four mismatched blades, as if claimed from battles that stretched from across the globe over the span of history. A blade favored by the warriors of the orient in one hand, a saracan sword of the desert people not in fashion for at least two hundred years in another. One hand yielded a massive rust splotched and blood splattered, claymore effortlessly despite clearly being meant for two. And one blade so ancient that I doubt any records of the civilization fashioning it still exist. It was so rusted and cracked that it seemed to only be held together by the same foul Forces holding together this golem of decicated flesh and bone.

In a medieval fantasy prospective: -the Droid army is an army of souless undead skeletons and zombies -the General Grievus is and experimental undead which maintains its individuality and commands the army -the Separatist council is the group of Necromancers which build the army, battle after battle -Count Dooku and Asaj Ventress are death-knights -Jedi might fit as the round-table like knights of the kingdom menaced by the evil undead army -Clones are the footsoldiers of the kingdom fuck it im gonna play a D&D campain about this.

I wrote a micro story to the picture and music. Stay tuned as I re-post it! I hope you enjoy! General Grievous stood imposing, his skeletal, multi-limbed bulk faceted with armor and bristling with swords. Each arm spun and worked independently of each other, carving deadly arcs in the air before him as he began to advance, his tattered cloak billowing. Menacing green mist streamed out from his eye sockets. The tendrils hovered and churned longer than they should have before they evaporated with his movement, only to be replaced by more enchanted steam. Obi, Knight of the Republic held his ground before the advancing monstrosity. Too long had this bewitched general of metal and bone plagued the battlefields of the Republic. Too long had he slain the Republic's soldiers, leaving their mangled bodies to writhe in his wake. Obi surveyed the battle behind the approaching General. He saw such bodies, the white and red Republic livery on their tunics a tell-tale sign of their allegiance. The bodies didn't move this time. their lifeblood already drained out. This monster need to be stopped. "Sir Obi," General Grievous said, his voice guttural and primal. "You must realize you are doomed. This feeble resistance of the Republic is not enough to stop the might of the Separatist Empire!" "Oh, I don't think so," Obi replied, bringing his hand and a half sword to bare, its blue glow bathing his face with a warm light. "You fool. Then you will die like everyone else." Grievous attacked, a blur of movement from his upper limbs as he swung with an overhead strike, his short swords gleaming wickedly. Obi blocked the attack, raising his shield just in time. Green Sparks erupted with the impact, the smell of enchanted ozone filling the air. . .

Anyone else think General Grievous is underrated? At least in Revenge of the Sith: lots of people just say he’s a coward with a Russian accent who’s only job is to fight Obi Wan with four lightsabers. He was always more to me: a General who knew when to retreat, a Jedi killer who collected their blades as trophies, a monster who truly enjoyed a good fight and had no allegiance except to the Dark Lord of the Sith. He’s also a cyborg so that’s major foreshadowing. Don’t get me wrong, he’s amazing in both Clone Wars shows (better in the first one) but Revenge of the Sith just shows pure awesomeness.

Jared is correct: Cavalry is the military unit, Calvary is the place where Jesus was crucified Also "thy" is very similar to "thou"; it also means "you", and is a second person pronoun with a slightly different application. So your reply currently reads: "You do not think so" and doesn't really make sense. May I suggest the edit: "Thou art hasty to believe it so" or "Thy overconfidence perish with thee" or, closest to the actual original star wars script, really; Quite simply: Sir Kenobi: "Not so."

I can see General Grievous as a four-armed demon summoned to fight the war against the Republic. He commands the Separatists’ undead army and wields the cursed blades of his fallen foes. An arming sword used by a Jedi, a broadsword used by a Sith Knight, the jian of a Mandalorian Knight, and the kukri of a common thief. He can’t be killed as he regenerates. The legendary knight Obi-Wan only defeated Grievous when he pushed the demon into a bottomless pit.

Funnily enough your orchestration reminds me of Shostakovich. Very clean arrangements, lots of doubling, not as complicated as you'd think, but still managing to sound f***ing huge

Hasnt he already done all of the major scores of that soundtrack though? I guess he could make medieval versions of those scores, but that would be it.
