I refuse to believe anything other than Ben Kenobi setting up Luke to have an adventure with Mara. The current chapter is the start of the best arc of Heir to the Empire, book 1 of the Thrawn trilogy. Highly looking forward to Luke and Mara's journey. The quality of animation every chapter just gets better and better, and the voice actors sound very capable of matching what is to come. You're doing the Star Wars fandom a major service with this, as older fans finally get to see it animated. While new fans can be teased just how great the Pre-Disney Expanded Universe was, especially Timothy Zahn's books.

@@DarthAngelus well, I can tell you with certainty that you have been successful in that endeavour already. I'm on a lot of Star Wars forums and I've both personally, and seen others do likewise, but use your video series to basically tease Canon timeline only fans and just casual fans unsatisfied with the Sequels of what the Original Expanded Universe and Thrawn Trilogy is, and why it is superior in my eyes. Quite a few of them do actually start reading them as a result. So you are doing an incredible job of keeping the EU alive for future generations.

Love the graphics and pacing of the story-the rising tension is felt in every moment and I love the perspective of Karrde trying to move all the pieces of the chess board with Thrawn approaching. So much happening in this episode and the next couple of chapters-I can’t wait! Especially the Luke and Mara chase scene! Thank you again for continuing this story.

So good! One moment I really loved was at 9:13 when you had them moving up the hill hiding behind the tree and the camera follows them up. There's just something cool about you using three dimensions like that so simply but realistically.

I think the arrival details for Han solo added to the story. I know you want to focus on the plot line, but a little subtlety could not hurt. And when Mara runs after Luke, she could be made to sprint faster if she wasn't hopping..

I got into Star Wars at 12 years old when my grandpa took me to see Revenge of the Sith in 2005. I grew up on the old lore including Mara Jade and Thrawn. Mara Jade is the reason I'm into redheads (*dab*) and to see what back then I only could imagine in my head I can now witness is a wondrous nostalgic trip to my teen years. Thank you, Lord Angelus. You helped a millennial turning 30 in July to feel a wee bit younger. Keep up the good work. And remember, the Dark Side is ALWAYS with you.

6:12 Thrawn: "I look forward to our meeting..." *Karrde sighs, covering his face* I feel bad for Karrde. He's trying so hard to stay neutral and keep Luke hidden from the Empire, but then Thrawn comes to Myrkr because of both the islamiri and his search for Luke. He really feels compromised between both sides of the Empire and the New Republic.
