I had this idea for an RP server, fully planned out and ready to go like 7 years ago but getting those assets on there and keeping the server alive just wasn't happening. The idea was the Empire makes it to our galaxy and sets up shop over LS. Cop reskinned as troppers and officers, admin and mods serving as key characters. Rebel faction with x-wings and land speeders, the whole shebang. A damn shame something like that can't be done, it would be hilarious and fun as hell.

That last TIE shot down was Thrawn's special project and it's a good thing for the rebellion that it did not go into mass production as the Grand Admiral was hoping. That fighter probably would have turned the war into an Imperial victory before even the events of ESB occurred maybe even Yavin 4. Thrawn was really the most dangerous member in the empire due to just how smart he was. For a rebel faction he was almost always 2 or three moves in front of them knowing exactly what they would try to do and eliminate any chance of escape before the rebels even could come up with it. While the rebellion and other less qualified officers in the Empire were playing checkers Thrawn was playing chess. He alone was the only non-human officer to make it to the rank of Grand Admiral which says something about his skill. The empire generally did not accept anything other than humans into their ranks especially the officer ranks which was a huge mistake on their part.
