Currently completing the game, really enjoying it. Will be uploading again.
Anyone wondering about how I do the high jump: It is an unintended mechanic that I have found. It's similar to enemy step in DMC. While locked on to an enemy and stationary, jump and press L1 right before you reach max height. If you press L1 too late or too early you wont get full momentum on the rise up. Cal should perform 5 hops if done right.

Fun fact: The song in that makes the song in the background and the song Cal is listening to at the start was created by an actual Mongolian band, singing Huttese. When Cal says: “Hey, I know this band!” technically it makes the band canon.

In short, you are saying he's just parrying, and I'm telling you he takes every opportunity to parry but also every opportunity to do damage in the most efficient way, that's a big difference. If you're playing too defensive its not the game's fault. Also, about power attacks, I don't get why he doesn't use those but it's not just possible but very useful as well, against bosses at least. I could visibly see how a single heavy swing is worth 3 to 4 of light ones by looking at a boss' healthbar.

Game doesn't resave "meditation point" when you die. You can leave and reload your game, it will be in the state it was you last time exited meditation.

I loved playing this scene, it was really awesome and the music is epic. Not to mention in 10 second, Sorc Tomo became an immediate joy with his in-your-face personality and voice. The only sad part is, we really could've done with WAY more of him, like an actual face-to-face confrontation, and some stuff leading into this beyond just one bounty hunter beating Cal. So much potential in many aspects of this game, but often it falls just short of its promise.

That unintended mechanic actually looks pretty smooth during gameplay. I tried using jump to dodge normally in the beginning of my playthrough, but it was really inconsistent. I've since beaten the game, but this does make me want to go back to it.

I also play in jedi grandmaster so i was wondering if my timing was wrong, but there was no way cause the dude just had a diabolical tracking. So my frustration brought me to my master. Good tip: If you’re dying because of the droid charging at you, use force slow on him. It helps a lot.

I beat this on Jedi Grand Master mode without any upgrades. No skill upgrades, or any health upgrades. Force push, pull, and slow do not count as upgrades since Cal had those as a kid. Also, u can use force slow immediately at the start of the game so not an upgrade. It was so hard & I died so many times. I beat this like an hr ago.

I loved this fight :D It's funny though, I was kinda taken aback by just how goddamn easy that bounty hunter was to take out. She straight kicked my ass the first time we met with that force field, so I thought she'd be absolute nails this time. But a few applications of force-pull, some deflections, dodge rolling & force-freeze, she barely touched me and I took her down first try. The goddamn spiders were tougher than her!
