STAR WARS Jedi Fallen Order - How to Get the Double Bladed Lightsaber Location Guide
You can get the double bladed lightsaber very early on in STAR WARS Jedi Fallen Order. Once you get to the first proper planet, Bogano, follow the story and go into the tomb. When you come out you'll go down the shortcut to the left. Along this path is a wall carving you'll inspect and this will unlock the planet Dathomir.
head to Dathomir and follow the path I take to get the double bladed lightsaber for you to use whenever you like.

Getting this lightsaber upgrade made the game so much more badass. Best part about it, is being able to go from double to single blade with a hit of a button. So you can take out multiple enemies with the double then switch to single blade to finish of the tougher enemy in mid battle.. so awesome. Definitely go get this as soon as possible to make the game a tad easier on yourself. Getting through all the spiders and night brothers can be a bitch but totally worth it..

It'a also available in a water logged abandoned workshop on Bongano after you have force push. (That first upright metal bridge that you find trying to get up to the subterranean refuge). Much easier to find and no real enemies to dodge. There's a nice little cut scene with it too.

For anyone struggling to get back, just walk a few feet and open the big tall door that's a shortcut back. Easy peasy. Edit: you're basically looking dead at it @2:58 in the video. It's OPEN in this video and will be closed in your game.

There's also another option as well : If you can wait until you get the repair/upgrade for BD-1's Scomp link and force push, this will allow access to the abandoned workshop on Bogano, where you can get Eno Cordova's hilt to join with Cal's for the double-bladed light saber

You have to get the force push ability to access the area to be able to climb up to the workshop. But, yes, you can get it on Bogano, because that's where I got it.

I earned it the hard way through travelling to Dathomir and taking on the nightbrothers. (Arguably, my least favourite enemies to square off with) but man, oh man, finding the workbench and unlocking the double-blade upgrade was a great reward. It makes dealing with the smaller enemies (most of the time) easier and the troopers can hardly keep up either.

I got mine at bogano after I found Cordova's work shop , personally I think this is the best place to get it because it explains how cal wants to honor Cordova by connecting both lightsabers and having a piece of him to be with them in their journey

I didn't realize this was a tough thing to get lol. I naturally stumbled upon it working my way through Dathomir. Dathomir was scary as heck coming in, but getting this was game-changing. Reading other comments, it sounds like once you find an upgrade work bench, you'll get the dual blades

WARNING; I think you have to use the workbench in the ship before the bench with the upgrade will work. I went all the way down to the workbench and it would not upgrade my sword. It gave no explanation, there just was no prompt on the workbench. So after trying several times I made my way back to the ship. I unlocked the shortcut so it was easier to get back. After I used the ship workbench and returned I got the upgrade, but yeah, I would avoid that.

you need force abilities to get it though, dathomir is the quickest way to get it from starting a fresh game. You need force push to get it otherwise but as soon as you leave bogano after starting the game you can just run through dath and get it

It’s a shame that red isn’t a lightsaber color. I know that it’s a sith thing but it could have been as simple as cal breaks open one of the sisters lightsabers and steals the kyber crystal. Then we could have a true Darth Maul saber.

AND NOW YOU REALIZE THAT ANYWAY IN THE GAME YOU GOT IT ,😂😂😂 because you can have it on kashyyyk and I think that in one on the cinematic of the ice planet (don’t want to spoil) you are forced to have it (because before this cinematic when you modify one side of the saber it change the other but after the cinematic you can choose which setting you want for each side anyway )
