One time, I got killed by a Purge Trooper who had a Scout Trooper with backup. As I fell, the Purge Trooper told the trooper "You fought well." It's oddly touching that the Purge Troopers are willing to compliment the stormtroopers who prove themselves rather than automatically seeing them as inferior.

Hot take: Purge Troopers helped make the Empire scary again. After the humiliation the Inquisitors went through during Rebels, ironically it’s the soldiers under them who are truly terrifying. Obviously Purge Troopers aren’t necessarily that powerful in combat, but the sheer dogmatic hatred they have for Jedi and their devotion to the Empire is frightening. The normal stormtroopers come off as just people. People blinded by propaganda and brainwashed completely by the Empire, but the Purge Troopers are almost robotic in their fanatical loyalty to the Emperor.
