Fantastic video Andy 👏 👏 The blaster might have similar use as guns had in Bloodboorne. It was used there to parry enemy attacks, I can imagine blasters being used for distraction, parry and knocking enemies out for a moment in Jedi Survivor.

The stance mechanic in ghost of tsushima was so addictive for me. I'm glad to have stances in survivor. But if you can't access all 3 at will then I don't see it being as technical as ghost. Where each enemy was weak to a certain stance

Apparently it's more about what you prefer, some enemies will probably be easier to kill with certain stances but I doubt it will be like ghost of tsushima where you are basically crippling yourself if you don't switch. Also there are 5 stances not 3

I just watched some cilps of Jedi Survivor and it seems like we got nearly all Cal's outfit parts from JFO(except the poncho), which means we could make Cal to looks almost the same as his younger self.

Very welcome, that's understandable if puzzles happen at a point in game n must fo it to progress thats okay with me im horrible with puzzles but I give puzzles 3 pr 4 tries then take a break n thanks to youtube if im stuck im sure sum one beat a game n search them up n follow what they do or did n I been working on Harry Potter legacy n their puzzles r easy n side quests puzzles r sum what easy n I never beat fallen order which every other chapter I get stuck or lost I hope the next jedi game has a better map

The guy in the bacta tank is from a species called the Evereni . Grey Slate Skin. Glowing Eyes. Raven gray hair. Disney has been using them as their first big race in their new High Republic stories. The key hes holding is identical to a Starmap. Was featured in SWG as well as Clonewars at one point among other artifacts. They lead to things and function as a key when arriving at them. Were very popular for people in starwars who wanted to hide something really well but have a way for others to find it without making it easy. Usually they were employed by Syndicates like the Black Sun, Fallen Orders or Sith Cults and even the Jedi after order 66 and the War between the Army of Light and the Brotherhood of the Sith. Though the Markings in the screenshots weve seen are not republic. So its not a Jedi Temple. Or at least not a traditional one. Perhaps from one of the founding orders such as Dai Bendu. Which were essentially the forerunners of the modern jedi. Unless of coarse disney has continued to throw logic and their own lore to the wind without any kind of retention of consistency. Which given their horrendous story and design choices we've seen already is possible. As for the Gen'dai, they were featured in a side story mission called "The Flame" in Star Wars the Old Republic MMO. Which Disney has kept intact as its part of The Old Republic Era. Returning to the topic of the Evereni the most notable member of which is a guy named Marchion Ro who was an enemy of the Jedi Order during the high republic and survived in a bacta tank following faking his own death after his final confrontation with the Jedi Order of the era. He utilizes a different type of pull on the elements of the force that isnt the force but rather the opposite end of the spectrum. Its refered to as equalization in the newest generation of books. Its essentially explained as the opposite of the force. Or rather the forces counter element. Kind of like how magnets have a positive and negative spectrum that are both opposed and can cancel one another out. He has the ability to drive jedi insane, take away their powers. Cause the force to send Jedi mixed or incorrect signals and to invert their emotional control. Driving calmness to madness and so on. He can also control beasts that feast upon the living force and drain it out of jedi kind of like an energy vampire turning jedi to permanent literal stone. He also has basic knowledge of how to use a lightsaber. He was personally responsible for taking out the most powerful member of the entire Jedi Order during the high republic as well as tens of thousands of other jedi through mass manipulation and trickery. Comparatively considering the order he fought against was far more powerful and vast then the Order during the clone wars he effectively made order 66 look like a joke. Think Darth Sidious on Roids. Plus hes scary smart. Hes literally tricked jedi into taking themselves out. So hes a pretty scary dude. The kind of person Vader and Sidious would run and hide from. So if it is him Cal is in serious trouble. Even if its just a member of his tribe that still bodes badly for Cal. The best hope for Cal is Disney is screwing with their own (new) established High Republic lore and making some member of the Evereni an exception even though their most recent book series states there were no such exceptions due to the nature of the force element they wield making them even greater Heratics to the Jedi then the Sith were. The Jedi committed absolute genocide against the Evereni Tribes due to their anti-force connections. The Evereni just wanted to be left alone initially. They were not like the sith. The jedi made stupid assumptions and acted first likely out of fear after their previous experience with the Sith Empire which resulted in the Evereni and Jedi becoming enemies. They were appalled at the way the jedi ran the galaxy and how the Jedi stuck their face into everyone's business. After Marchion lost and gave up and realized the right half segment of the galaxy would be under Republic rule seemingly forever it would be no surprise to see him so pissed off that the Jedi mucked stuff up. So there is a chance its Marchion Ro. But at the very least its a member of his tribe since his tribe were the last survivors of the Evereni. Their ancestors all being wiped out by the old republic jedi order. In both Legends and the New Canon the Jedi Temple has been hollowed out of all traces of the Jedi Order and was turned into the Imperial Palace as a way for the Emperor to revel in his destruction of the order and to cause pain to the remaining Jedi which Sidious takes pleasure in. ~ Hope that helps @AndyReloads

@@AndyReloads No problem! Starwars is both a passion and a hobby. Read every book they have published since the A New Hope paperback released since it had parts not in the movies. Huge fan. Great way to escape stress is to visit a galaxy far far away. One of the best parts of Starwars having such an expansive universe both before and after the Legends separation is guessing what new games or books have in store for the readers/players. Very fond of the gray jedi approach Cal has taken in the storyline thus far and its nice to see them employing some of their new lore friendly races in games. For all the awful stuff disney has done to the starwars universe the Evereni race and the equalization is definitely one of their better additions. Would be pretty neat if they are indeed having a fallen jedi team up with the biggest baddie of the high republic.

I really, really, really hope they rethink the allowance for only 2 stances at a time. Your base lightsaber should always be there, with the ability to slot 2 additional stances. Probably too late now as the game is right around the corner but I would be more than pleasantly surprised if it’s a perk unlock or something.

Great video!! But I would really like to know how they handle the saving? That was what killed the last game for me honestly. I loved the story, the characters, the visuals, the gameplay (most of it). But to die, and have to replay large areas because of the lame saving system really killed the fun for me. I know they introduced a fast travel system, but I can't seem to find anything about how the game saves? Can you share any info on that? As for the saving mechanic, my understanding is that this will be reprised in the same mechanical format in this game, via the meditation points, so that risk/reward aspect is still there throughout. I'd love to be corrected on that, but this is what I'm expecting and haven't heard anything different since a few big publications got hands on with it last week! There are companion mission parts, but you don't just freely get to take whoever you want, wherever you want. It will be specific parts of the story.

9:24 you would think that introducing a new planet that they might be a little more imaginative rather then looking like North Dakota. Heck make a unique planet that looks like the avatar planet or a planet that looks like a planet from no man’s sky. Something unique would be a breath of fresh air and life into the vastness of the galaxy. Can’t keep coming up with a desert planet or a rocky planet.
