Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (Patch 9) RTX 3060 Ti - RTX 3060 - RTX 3050 - GTX 1650

Jedi Survivor just got a new patch 9 update, and the VRAM usage is really high, even on low texture quality, which is frustrating. This causes texture loading issues on graphics cards with 4GB of VRAM. Removing the DRM hasn't improved overall performance much, but it has reduced micro-stutters and improved 1% low frame rates. Lowering settings from Ultra to Low doesn't give a big performance boost, so it’s better to just play on Ultra with a gamepad. Anyway, don't forget to like the video and thanks for watching!

The sad thing is most games on pc are setting the baseline VRAM optimizations around a console which uses max 12GB. So allot of games post 2022 are going to suffer for 8GB+ cards. Im using a rx 7600 for my bazzite pc and i hate having to turn down my texture setting makes the games look bad esp if you need to use upscaling rip. The only games that don't do this are UE5 games weirdly.

You should've tried FSR 3 mod from Nukem, it's actually better with it because it also enables Reflex, the game has a lot of input lag without it.

Lossless scaling frame generation is pretty good now. Just cap the FPS to 30 and double it with lossless scaling. If your GPU can handle up to 60fps, cap FPS to 60 and double it

Simple, the problem was not so much denuvo but the poor optimization of the game

This video is GPU bound, there's other channel showing difference between Denuvo and no Denuvo on CPU bound, ~20 fps difference, from 80 fps to 100 fps

The game did gain performance boost, specially on 1% Low. I tested 4 cards and easily the 1% Low went from 34% to 37% better perfirmance.

Jedi Fallen order has better graphics than Survivors low graphics and consumes less VRAM and run so much better with GTX 1650.

It's not graphics it's atmosphere. Jedi Fallen Order had lower graphics than this game but it was environment that made that game look better than the sequal.

I tried on Game Pass, have a 1650 SUPER. the framerate is all over the place! tried to lock 30 fps, at low and FSR2 quality mode, and yet still suffers to get a solid 30 fps. Also FSR2 makes the game so noisy better leave that one.
