Star Wars Jedi Survivor - REALISTIC LIGHTSABER Combat | 2

Here is another Star Wars Jedi Survivor realistic lightsaber combat video using the purity perk. I am using the single, double, crossguard and dual lightsaber stances. The combat in this video is pretty ruthless and sith like but also very satisfying.

I've always felt that the hardest difficulty on any game is essentially the dev's interpretation of what it would actually be like in real life. I think the Purity perk is just that.

@@cedricberger1139 it increases the damage you give to enemies and damage you take from enemies dramatically. I believe you get it when you start a New Journey + game after beating it.

But purity isn't max difficulty though. I find it trivializes the game. Bosses melt, same for harder enemies. I died a lot more in gm first playthrough than in gm purity no hud.

Yes and no- yes it would be difficult af to take out most video game enemies, but when it comes to games like GoW, some fights shouldn’t be challenging at all realistically if you’re Kratos, but then it wouldn’t be as fun

I've noticed you don't use lock on much and showcase things like ground executions. Have you found any unique mechanics? These would be similar things that were in the first game such as attacks only available without lock on, backstabbing, or multi blocking (able to block a melee strike and reflect blasters at the same time). Curious if the combat is truly deeper than the first.

well the combat has definitely gotten better in every way. But when it comes to unique mechanics, similar things to the ones you mentioned, i dont think there are any new types except maybe the ability to hack droids with bds electro dart which they dont tell you about in the game. Though i dont rly know if that counts as a unique mechanic

​@@paperface1 Not entirely as a similar hacking was present in the first. That is unfortunate as I enjoyed finding the small details they added to Fallen Order. The combat is far more an immersive sim than a souls-like in many ways. No one ability is massively powerful, yet in conjunction with others they become wildly strong. Wish I had a Series X to play it on as I spent a larger amount of time in the first than I'd care to admit. Survivor seems similar to the step from Titanfall 1 to Titanfall 2. Is the hit detection well done? In the first, passing an enemies guard was possible with the right attacks and correct timing. Enjoyed seeing you play using the return on the saber throw. That was something I messed around with in the first as you could throw the saber (all skills/upgrades unlocked) and attack and/or block while the thrown saber was returning to you.

​​@@cheyannapadgett yeah the detection is pretty similar to the first and its still possible to pass a enemys guard with the right timing. And also there are quite a few performace issues with the game so maybe if/when you get an xbox series x the performance wouldve been fixed and you then could properly enjoy your playthru

Purity is alot of fun.. until u get shot 3 times and you're dead 😂😂 u have to have perfect defense to wipe the floor with the purity perk
