You got lucky there in the last tongue pull red attack. He missed it for some reason but 9/10 times he catches you if you are that close to him. That's how broken this fight is.

@@jal.ajeera it is broken because there is no i-frame for the tongue attack. if you are close to him there is literally no way to avoid it, and sometimes he just spins in place and fires it off leaving you no time to move away

@@partcyborg Dude, stop being so mechanical. An actual boss not confined to pre established norms is a breath of fresh air. And that tongue attack can literally be double jumped over irrespective of distance. The unpredictability of the boss makes it phenomenal tbh. Hard no doubt, frustrating no doubt, but phenemonal in every other way.

FINALLY beat this MONSTROSITY on my first visit to Koboh after watching your video! No blasters, no dashes! Just Cal, a few stims and a lightsaber, the true Jedi way lol. Thanks for making this!

Me too. Beat it on grandmaster and first visit on Kobho. Took me about 2 and a half hours spread over two days

That one lunging attack he does was frustrating me to no end because I was trying to just do the regular dodge but the tracking means the dodge doesn't work, it hadn't occurred to me you are meant to JUMP over it. Thanks for this video!

This was a MASTERCLASS to watch! I've been trying for 4 days now to beat SofO at this exact same stage of the game (1st visit to Koboh, single saber, 4 stims, grandmaster) and I can only get to the final stage. I absolutely REFUSE to come back later in the game to fight him! I do a lot of the things you do here but you simply do them better! I also use my lightsaber throw a lot. But i can't evade that AoE leap he does in the final phase of the fight. I'm definitely studying this vid!

Okay I finally beat it so I'll give some tips First after you beat less than a quarter of his health he will start using his tongue attack which is janky af he will use this after he JUMPS so run away once he does. You can kinda dodge it but its jank so unless youre too close you just gotta gamble Around halfway I will purposefully parry so I can build up my force meter for my saber throws. After his health dips he will start doing his jump shockwave move and he will do 4 chain chomp attacks and he will straight up combo again or do other moves which is why I suggest building force halfway to throw at him in the end. To me at the end it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to hit him since he becomes too manic so whittle his hp with saber throws and ONLY attack him when he does his jump shockwave attack. Also ONLY fight him if you maxed upgrade Cals HP and put 1 point in BD-1s stim. Thats how I did it anyway

Also if you died earlier don't collect the yellow thing do it when youre out of hp or force so you dont have to use a stim

How many health upgrades did you have when fighting him? He still 1 shots me with his basic bites when I have like 4 or 5 upgrades

Looks like max, with a few force echo upgrades. (Aka, visit two other planets through mainstory, and explore this one more on return)

I had max from survivor tree and a few health upgrades from Coruscant and Koboh. I did this before I finished Koboh and went to any other planets. See that I start with 3 stims. I also strategically used my full heal from my previous death lol.

This video made Spawn almost a joke on Grandmaster. Single lightsaber, don't parry, just dodge and strike after each dodge. strike once after the first normal attack, twice after the second. Strike twice after the unblockable lunge, 3 times after acid, and don't bother with counterattacking after the leap attacks. Get as much distance as possible if he jumps away as he's likely to follow with a tongue attack.

You can't be on the hardest difficulty... Im not allowed to dodge, jump double jump or run without it mili-second beaming to my body and 1 shotting me.
