I do love the riot troopers, but that sleeper cell is insane. 14 black dice at range 2 with the extra guy, or 7 red impact 7 with the det packs. That's better than any lightsaber unit.

They are very good offense. They only roll white dice in def though and don’t have charge or steady. So a bit of a glass cannon. Thanks! -Joe

Riot Control being a Corp makes me happy. I've been wanting more melee/close range units way more with the new rules. Arcs losing range 3 initially made me sad but I immediately got over it after a single game lol. These guys will be a great addition.

Thank you for the unboxing. However, whether I get them or not depends on their compatibility size and style-wise with the existing rebel models (veterans, commandos etc.). And from their looks they look too different in sculpting style. Would welcome a side by side comparison. Thanks again for sharing this.

My first outing with Riot Control Squads when it comes out is to have both of them be transported by a pair of GAV's to try and get them in the thick of things r2! (and gives me more excuses to use my GAV's 😆

For the Astromech the POI tokens are classed as objective tokens, so it probably won't need a reword. Kinda sad we don't have more head options for the sleeper cell.

Little disappointed to be honest, I thought in one of the previews for sleeper cell from AMG they said "alien head options", leading me to believe... there would be options. I only counted 7 heads in there, for 7 models. I also was expecting some arm options where some guys could hold the DET charges and some two guns. Doesnt seem to be the case.

I went back and checked. The boxes with all the heads will be the new rebel corp box coming out next year and they said you can get those heads to work with this box as well. Thanks for watching. -Joe

The new rules are already out and are free to print and play. The new core set will be nice but not crazy different from what’s currently available

As of right now we don’t know what will be in a core set or if there will be a new one ( we assume there will be) but without any official announcements we don’t know. They have print play cards ready now on the website for a lot (not all units) if they units not on the site we currently are to use the old cards
