Damn these kids were fantastic! I remember my college band days, and let me tell you, it is not as easy as it looks. In order to march with an instrument, or do any kind of fancy patterns like this, there is a LOT of work to do in order to both look good and sound good. But you get the right director and you have tons of fun. OTOH, get a crappy director that doesn't know how to work with the situation they have, and you have a problem. Case in point: my first year of college band blew chunks 'cause the director had been from U of Michigan, and didn't know beans about working with a smaller college band. The director in this video however, looks like he'd be a blast to work with! :-D

My school's marching band went to Disney World this year.. they absolutely killed it! We were the first band to ever get 10 minutes to play at Epcot. Unfortunately I didn't go because I told myself I wouldn't go my 8th grade year (I'm pretty sure everyone who has ever been in marching band knows how everyone treats the 8th graders/freshmen) so I didn't go. I'm going my sophomore and senior year though! Go CNE Marching Rockets!!
@jap50767 жыл бұрын
Nicole Leonard just wondering, how do they treat them?
@ThatTinyHuman7 жыл бұрын
Jason Pereira well, unless my band is different from others, I would say the sophomores, juniors, and seniors always yell at you, extremely loud, even when what you did wrong-you didn't know it was wrong because no one told you it wasn't... all three grades think they have a huge sorority over everyone else (referring to the 8th graders and freshmen) and I realllllyy don't think I could've handled getting yelled at by teenagers who think they know everything for a week.
@kfcmcnuggets18677 жыл бұрын
Nicole Leonard typically it has a huge deal with people not ever following orders so people just stop being polite about it.
