I swung by my local Target yesterday to pick up the Sith Infiltrator. I decided to just check if they had any new Micro Fleet vehicles that showed up and low and behold, on the shelf, there was the Ghost. Only one remaining. So I snagged it. The Sith Infiltrator and the Ghost picked up simultaneously. It was a good day! 🙂

Great review and a great looking ship. The only thing that bothers me is that compared to the colors and weathering of the Ghost itself, the Phantom shuttle looks really plain. It almost looks like they don't belong together.

@@DanielPagano-ie3xn I agree. I will get a second one and do a wash similar to the Ghost to make it look more uniform. They really stepped it up with the weathering on these!

Btw fun fact. I was able to dock both action fleet Y-wings and X-wings from the 90’s line in the exact same fashion. I was so pumped when I figured this out.

Great thorough review! I'm so excited for this one. I pre-ordered the Amazon set, but I think I like this without the battle damage. The black wash is nice. It really reveals how so many other vehicles, like the Phantom, really need similar treatment.

The nose turret doesn't rotate there is a little center tab that lines it up. But you more it it unhooks and rotates side to side. I will say on mine the smugglers hatch won't open without a flathead screwdriver.

Its a great ship but yeah, looking at Rebels and how flat the Phantom sits in the Ghost... this doesnt look right... but scale was never a topic with MGS lol

@@TheI3lacky yea. They have had to cheat the scale on some of the ships. I am impressed with the size of this though. It’s amazing how big it is. I never would have thought we would get anything bigger than the ATAT and was pleasantly surprised by this!

I'm really happy with the scale between the millennium falcon and the ghost...not so much with the walker but I get it...the size and cost of an in scale walker would just be huge! Obviously I'm referring to the one from empire strikes back.

Okay check this out. I was lucky enough to find the Sith Infiltrator this morning at my local Target. Wait until you try to expand this things wings, it's insane. It absolutely feels like your going to break it. At first I thought there must be a button to maybe expand them simultaneously but I don't see one. I'm interested in your take on this when you get yours.

I feel like they should have included a couple of covers for the rear dock sculpted to look like an in scale docked phantom and phantom II. Especially if you dont get either phantom or display them separately.

@@MidsouthCupSeries thanks for the comment. I agree the phantom does look a little bit big. Although I think they were looking to capitalize on this coming as its own separate vehicle which I totally get. They are a great set together! I can’t wait for the Secret Mission bundle!

I like everything about it except for one thing. I feel they overdid the weathering on all the cracks (struggeling to find a better word) and it just looks like the ship got black lines everywhere. Am I mistaken here? Compare it to the Falcon or the AT-AT. They got better weathering I think. It's too much on the ghost.

@@The.Crawling.Chaos. they certainly changed how they are doing the washes. Initially they were just applying the wash and not wiping it off. This was leaving a lot of pooling in different areas and did look like it was poured on. It also was causing parts to stick and not fit correctly. They learned from customer feedback and change the amount of wash and the color also in the later series. Now they have moved to more of a panel lining approach to the wash. It definitely makes the details stand out more. Each option has its positives and negatives. I certainly can see your point of view! They could likely make a change to the color of the panel lining wash in the future to make it less stark.

I know that micro galaxy has never been great with scale but I wish that the phantom and ghost were at the very least in scale with each other. The phantom just looks weird and oversized. I wish they were painted the same too, the phantom looks way too bright

@@OptimusMonk01 correct. Due to a lot of factors they can’t make these perfectly in scale to one another. They had said 1:83 scale was what they were aiming for but most are well off that scale, too big or too small. The best way to thinking about the scale is the small vehicles are small, medium medium and on ward.

@@genreonlinenet the Phatom comes with Chopper and Ezra. This is a common release for series 6 Starfighter Classic. These should be popping up in stores in the next couple weeks.
