Very smart move by Disney to include characters that were not on the guide or expected to be there. Disney fans since COVID have been saying Disney keeps cutting corners or up charging the customer. Here they gave more than what was advertised. Again, very smart to keep fans happy. Especially considering much of what is there this year was there last year too.

I could do a full write up on my experiences for Star Wars Nite on May 4. Instead, I'll keep it simple: for as wet and cold as it became during the evening, this event was better than last year. I didn't get to all I had hoped to see/do. Yet, what i did manage to make were awesome. I honestly feel that the rain just added to our commitment as fans to make the very most of this magical event.

Meeting C3-PO was the greatest thing I did this night. He spoke. He was REAL!! I was walk past a queue with only ten people in it. It was that C3-PO queue! It was a 15 min wait before C3-PO walked out!! By then the queue was huge. 2nd best part was seeing Fresh Bakes walk past. Liz popped up when a said "Fresh Baked". BEST BEST night!

They really need to stay open later. If bars can stay open till 2am, why not after dark events like this? Especially if can't start earlier till the day guests are out. It may be asking too much to stay open much later, but for the cost, and when everything is scattered all over the park. Have to admit that it looks like a great time. Thanks for sharing this.

I know the new cinematic filming where the forefront is in focus and the background is blurry is the “new thing” but as I love seeing the background clearly as well I am not a fan. I just went back to a video from Universal Studios from 1-1-23 and I liked being able to look either at you as you spoke or what was going on in the background. 😢sad to have lost background clarity.

Yeah… the shallow depth of field meant that we never saw C-3PO… only a gold blurred figure behind David. We rarely appear in our own videos because we know that everyone is watching to see the parks, and not my face. Personal preference, though… they’re his videos and he has every right to shoot them how he wants…

Im so upset! They took awhile to announce star wars nite, so i thought maybe they weren't doing it, so I did princess nite instead. I was only able to make it there once this spring. This is so much better! I hope they bring it back again next year. And now im double upset that we dont have these characters in a whole, huge star wars land.
