You might be thinking about a different SW games - at least I don't remember that you can choose between a good / bad side. What you can do: Choose between different options in dialogue and this will lead to different responses from factions. This is the first “modern open world” star wars game technically yes but bioware and obsidian did KOTOR 1&2 respectively which were open world but not open open world like bethesda games studios open world. Personally I think them remaking KOTOR from the ground up with modernized combat like jedi fallen order and survivor sounds like a much more exciting prospect. Sure an open world star wars game is great and all but what the community really wants is a full on open world/worlds star wars game where you can be any type of character you want. Force user Dark Neutral Light, a smuggler Han Solo type, an imperial trooper type, a bounty hunter type, you get the point. Basically a KOTOR or SWTOR set in a different time period than the old republic era. All that with a fully go snywhere do snything RPG style game like bethesda as I mentioned previously. It sounds like the closest we are getting to that is the KOTOR remakes and maybe Star Wars eclipse. If that game ever comes out that is. As to this game I think making a set character as opposed to a character creation with either sex is always a mistake for any open world game. Even if you are going more for action adventure as opposed RPG I think a character creator with either sex is about A’s universal as you get. Pretty much every gamer now wants to see themselves in the character they are playing and using a set character is definitely a missed opportunity on ubisofts part. Hopefully its not long before we get the KOTOR remakes or get Star wars eclipse so we can have something more along what I described every star wars fan I know has been begging for it. I don’t understand the reasoning behind not doing it yet. Personally for me the only good to great star wars games that has released under disney was Jedi Fallen order and Jedi Survivor. I certainly hope that this game is good but I was far from falling in love with it during the trailer and even more so with the gameplay the next day. But I guess hope for sunshine and prepare for rain. We will just have to wait and see.

No man’s sky has had loading screen-less spaceships since 2016, and apparently AAA studios can’t replicate that. Pathetic. Plus, NMS has 18 quintillion unique planets, thousands of side quests, several fully fleshed out storylines, and limited time storylines released every few months featuring novel gameplay mechanics. And even it doesn’t break 20 GB

This game looks amazing exactly what I envisioned for an open world/Galaxy SWs game and love the fact that you're not a Jedi tbh that's played out. To play as a normal person "Scoundrel" like Han Solo has me super hyped
