The game is a complete financial failure and will likely lose them hundreds of millions of dollars. The DLC is a commitment they've made and going back on it would be worse than just pushing it out as a 5-7/10. 1 more dlc next year then they'll abandon this game most likely.

@@rigatenes338 The conservative estimate to produce this game is in the 200-300m range, 'bro'. The return so far is under 100m. Licensing for the star wars IP takes a huge chunk of those profits. Ubisoft's running costs are also very high with so many employees. When it is all said and done in a year from now the loss is going to be hundreds of millions.

i got it last week on offerup for a good sale i’m a huge star wars fan i loved 3rd person games & honestly a lot of ubisoft games but oof this game is hard to tell if it’s good or not when you play it the first few hours the story feels so safe & the AI is so dumb i hear it does get way better in terms of gameplay & a bit of the story but we”ll see

I can’t speak for all players but I’m just not interested in yet another Ubisoft open world repetitive chore list. But more importantly I am tires of games being launched in a clearly unfinished state. I’m not gonna pay for an incomplete product. I’ve had enough of this “we’ll fix it later “ mentality that so many “AAA” developers and publishers have. It should not surprise anyone how this game under performed.

I wish they would A: add a Blaster module with a scatter shot effect that doesn't require holding the trigger to charge before firing, and B: let us have any three blaster modules we want in our quick swap set.

I played the full game and enjoyed it completed the story but still have some small side quests to finish but finished all main missions. I was really hoping they would give us another world to explore or area to find more side quests in. Kinda disappointed that it’s really just one quest line for the dlc cause I’m now finished after two days of playing and now feel like there isn’t really anything to do until the next dlc :/ I am slightly disappointed

Ubisoft has developed a terrible habit of releasing half built, buggy, and broken games. Instead of paying for beta testers, they convince players to pay for early access, and the players sniff out all the bugs and glitches for free. Whole sections of the game cut out sold later as DLC or just get the season pass. Ubisoft does not deserve our money..
