@bfjones11984 жыл бұрын
I expected a lot but not a and c being played on 4th valve, are they out of tune on the Jupiter?
@Matonizz4 жыл бұрын
It depends on either tuning or centering requirements. It alter combinations based on which section of the band I'm sharing the melody line with or how loud or soft I need to play. Will elaborate in more detail in a separate video in near future my friend but the horn I use is actually better in regards to intonation than vast majority of euphoniums I've tried :)
@sharon59654 жыл бұрын
Whats it like playing with earplugs? I've been thinking about using them myself but it feels like its harder to know what im doing if I have them in
@Matonizz4 жыл бұрын
If you have good, specialized earplugs then sensation is much closer to regular playing. Otherwise, it takes away a lot of frequencies which actually makes it easier to hear everyone else but much harder to hear yourself :) Try using one earplug on the side that is next to loudest instruments, I often do that :)
@sharon59654 жыл бұрын
Matonizz oh that’s interesting. So you generally hear others better but can’t hear yourself. Thanks for the information :)
@elowcow4 жыл бұрын
why do you sometimes you 4th valve for C above the staff and other times you use 1st valve?

Either tuning or centering purpose. It depends on which section of the band I'm sharing the melody line with or how loud or soft I need to play. Will elaborate in more detail in a separate video in near future my friend :)

I don't know the exact price but I believe somewhere in the 6000-6500usd. It would depend on your future goals and financial situation. If you can afford it and plan to pursue music path then yes :)
