The last few episodes of this season were amazing. A lot of fans thought Fulcrum was Ahsoka but this made so many fans happy. Season 2 ratchets everything up even more.

Not only is the Grand Inquisitor dead, Vader uses some Sith Alchemy to bring him back as a ghost and has him guard an empty Jedi Temple for all eternity. A fitting punishment for him.

The Inquisitor willingly killed himself as to not have to admit failure to Vader. Death was the more merciful fate.

So excited to see your reaction to this one! Ahsoka is also one of my favorites! Keep in mind that when this was released, we didn’t have season 7 of CW. So it was still a mystery as to what happened to Ahsoka after she left Anakin outside the temple. I had a pretty similar reaction that our girl was still out there kicking butt! Sabine’s paint job on the TIE is epic. I love her line, “It’s some of my best work!” 🤣 I had a friend recreate that paint job on a TIE toy. Yes I’m into the toys! 😊

Also there is more than one Fulcrum, Saw Gerrera was a Fulcrum, last story arc in The Clone Wars they radioed Anakin and Obi Wan and told them they received a message from Fulcrum and Anakin said something like "what does Saw want" but it was actually Ahsoka using that as a way to contact Anakin.

No Saw Gerrera wasn't a Fulcrum, in this arc Anakin and Obi-Wan think that's him because he's one of the people who know about this subspace communications frequency called Fulcrum but the Fulcrum as a title is created by Ahsoka.

it was an amazing reveal. after we've kinda got a lot of hints, there was an episode earlier in the season where "fulcrum"s symbol was shown (and it's Ahsokas face markings!) also, season Seven of clone wars was made after this and the call sign Ahsoka uses (and Anakin mistakes it for Saw Guerrera) is "Fulcrum" so it was all there in plain sight.

The opening part of this episode pays homage to one of several shorts that came out before the series premiered. This was the first time fans had seen Ahsoka since the end of Season 5 of The Clones Wars, as this series came out before Season 7 and five months after The Lost Missions (ie The Clone Wars Season 6). She would turn out to be one of the few characters immune to the Clone Wars Rule, which dictates all characters who do not appear in the films must be killed off for continuity.

Though inititially the storylines were tailored for young viewers, the music, sound FX and the action sequences heavily immersed within the Star Wars Universe lore had me hooked. 2:23 - Emme, it's hilarious that this TIE Fighter's paint job is an option that you can get in the game "Star Wars: Squadrons".... they actually tied that game to as much as they could. I haven't quite gotten far enough to unlock it, but just knowing it's an option is hilarious! Also, when the Mustafar system is mentioned, you assumed they meant the same place Anakin was disfigured into the Darth Vader we know. There are other places within that system, and that's all I'll say about that.

They gave away who Fulcrum was the first time they were shown, the design of the Fulcrum emblem that pops up as a hologram when they are talking to Fulcrum is the design on Ashoka's forehead.

Interesting information. The Grand Inquisitor "survived" Why "survive" because he wasn't alive and he wasn't dead. Vader saved what was left of him and forced obedience. Eternal service to Vader and the Empire. He will eventually be fully killed by Luke.

I always liked Dooku but after tales of the jedi, he is my favorite character. He saw the corruption and all the misguidance of the jedi from the beginning but I admit goes too far on his quest to bring peace to the galaxy. Still an incredible character though

Sabine is OP. And not in a fun way. This episode was the first I noticed how unbelievably untouchable she is. She's jumping around like she has force powers or something. Wish the crew had a more tough time fighting the Empire. When all the enemies fall over when you push them its not as fun.

Rebels is based on the original concept for Star Wars, to have a motley crew fighting tyranny in a fun way. Its never supposed to be Tolstoy. Sabine is overwritten though, I'll give you that, even though I do like her a lot still.
