I remember when the trailer for this season came out. Everyone lost it when Rex was revealed. He got a bigger cheer than both Vader and Ahsoka. Also, you guys got to see this after watching the Clone Wars finale. For those of us who watched Rebels during it's original run, we had to wait YEARS to find out how Rex removed his chip.

I appreciate that Rebels had Kanan take time before he fully trusts or bonds with Rex. It makes sense. Order 66 was probably the worst day of Kanan’s life and all he could was follow his master’s last order to run while she sacrificed herself for him. Even hearing about the control chips it probably sounds like a bs excuse made up to shield the clones from their betrayal. I am happy you guys were understanding of Kanan and Wolf this episode.

If I recall correct, yes Order 66 had a very negative impact on Kanan since he was about as old as Kal was at the time of Order 66 and saw his mentor get gunned down by his clone friends. Afterward, he spent most of his time working odd jobs and spend his earnings at every bar he could find until he met Hera.

Remember that the Clones have growth acceleration, meaning that they age twice as fast as normal Humans. So during the Clone Wars, the clone troopers were 10-14 years old chronologically, but biologically in their 20s. So if this is 15 years after the Clone Wars, then the remaining clones are chronologically 29, but biologically 58+.

But my point was that they watch TV _as a job._ Whereas most of us watch television only _after_ having been at our jobs. And then perhaps they watch something on their own time. Which means they watch whether or not they want to/are in the mood. Every single day, show after show. I believe you may also be discounting something else I said, about how they are watching while distracted by others making commentary, jokes, whathaveyou. And they are not fans to the level many of us are. That matters IMO. Ultimately, it's _not just one of these things_ they are dealing with while watching.

At this point in time, I do believe Vader is either making his way back to Imperial Center to meet with Sidious to be introduced to Thrawn, or is going back to the be in that final scene of the Clone Wars, in which he finds the crashed Ship and Ahsoka's abandoned lightsaber.

For Rex and the rest of the clones times moves faster. The Aminoans (the cloners) had to make thousands of soldiers, train them and let them grow, so to accelerate the process they modify them not only to be more subtle in following orders but to age more quickly so they get to their adult forms (prime age) faster. they didnt care if that make them get old faster, they only wanted the soldiers for the war, they didnt care what happened to them afterward. so for Rex and the rest 15 years were like 30-45 more or less

Also Vader is not involved with the creation of the Death Star. Tarkin is the one who runs the military operations and Director Krennic is the one supervising its creation. Vader is not military, which is why he answers to Tarkin. Also Vader doesn't give a shit about the Death Star, remember in a new hope he was like yall built this station but the power to destroy a planet is trash compared to the power of the force.. So most of the time Vader is doing his own thing, has his own objectives but hes not really involved with the Empires stuff unless the situation calls for him. Which is typically when powerful Jedi are involved or the situation needs his skills.

Even at a relatively shorter distance in space, the Ghost would look like a small, unidentifiable speck if you were looking out the window of the Star Destroyer bridge. Star Destroyers are 1600 meters or 1 mile long. A massive ship like that is going to be reliant on scanning, just like a submarine is reliant on sonar. That's their primary way of "seeing" things.

They were doing Jaws more than anything else. With the fishing line and trying to bring it to the surface. Even the music in the chase scene is similar to the theme while they chased Jaws in the open ocean. While the Fifth brother was arriving in Rebels, Vader went to find Ahsoka's last known position from the Clone Wars. That ending scene of Clone Wars season 7 has been rumored to have taken place AFTER he sensed Ahsoka in the battle with the Rebels in space. He sent the Fifth brother as ordered by Sidious while he went to confirm her death. After finding her lost lightsaber in that final scene of Clone Wars, he realizes she never died and resigns himself to what he has to do now. The last episode of season 2 is very important to Ahsoka's final journey.
