ooooh I never done opening day for anything so this was definitely an experience for me, was with a group of people there at front of line before 5am, didn't get the best boarding group, but second day was better :) so worth the wait! but def by sunday I couldn't even wakeup to go on a hike, I was a literal zombie and just knocked out when I got home saturday. We got 110 because of confusion among our group, but got to ride it before 9pm :PP

Really enjoyed this video. Keep it up. Star Wars Rise of the Resistance is an amazing ride which just blew us away. Read down here to see the strategy we used to ride it... We started our WDW trip with checking in at art of animation. First day we did Epcot second we did Animal Kingdom and during those two days we heard people chatting about ROR. How hard it is the get a boating group, how early the arrived to the park in the morning. We had scheduled Disney’s Hollywood Studios for 5 of January and just days before that the MyDisneyExperience app had huge problems and also ROR broke down several times. We stayed at art of animation in the little mermaid room. 1. The day before our planned visit to Hollywood Studios we booked a Lyft to pick us up outside our room and 06,15 in the morning. 2. Lyft picked us up in the morning and drove us straight to the park entrance. Arrived outside park at 06,40 3. Walked through security and then stood in line to enter the park. It took us 8 minutes 4. 06,48 inside the park and ready with our phones to snatch our boarding group. 5. 07,00 start the app and press join boarding group. 6. We got boarding group 53 and we rode around 12 o clock. So there’s no longer a need to arrive at the park super early. Early of course but at least not 4-5 in the morning. Enjoy Star Wars Rise of the Resistance, we sure did.

I loved watching Ashlie’s facial expression the entire ride! Hopefully we can ride it soon since we don’t ever go to Disney that early in the morning. Can you be scanned into the park then walk back out a few minutes later to get boarding group at 8am? My kids hate being in crowded areas.

The ride is so amazing last month when me & my dad visited WDW also our boarding group was #86. We didn’t get to ride until 3 pm but we did other rides while in Hollywood Studios to past the time. Since I already experienced it in Florida, I’m going to wait a month or 2 to ride Rise & enjoy the Chinese New Year also the Food & Wine Festival that is happening now in DCA with the Chinese New Year celebration starting first. #SoCalResident
