Imagine what a competent developer could do with the Battle of endor with Xbox one/ps4. My only criticism is there wasn't enough capital ships on both sides. But This was amazing being made 17 years ago. They nailed it. RIP factor 5.

I don't think I ever managed to actually beat this level but holy fuck it was intense. Perfect recreation of the movie battle. Still gives me goose bumps turning around and seeing those star destroyers in the distance.

Once you take out the Star Destroyers an Imperial Shuttle will drop out from the bottom and try to escape. I always take them out.

There is a tech upgrade out there. As you fly towards the two Destroyers on the second stage, it's on the left of the left hand star destroyer floating around. I never found it playing the game but saw it on another video like this.

Me at the end of the Razor mission: Pfew, that was tough but through hard work I managed to destroy this Star Destroyer. What a hard but cool mission. And then 7:43 happened😱

A trick I always used here was to fly close and around the medical frigate. Pursuing TIE fighters and interceptors would crash into the frigate.

Now that I've put Battlefront through its paces, I have a lot more appreciation for the Rogue Squadron series. The new game is gorgeous, a technical showcase. It just makes me sad they didn't borrow the best elements from previous SW titles.

+dragnink09 Yeah, I've played a bit of the new battelfront and damn, does it make me miss rogue squadron. The controls are nice and all in battlefront for piloting, but DICE's don't feel as tight nor as accurate, something a studio(with a lot less money) managed to nail consecutively.

Best Star Wars game ever, actually gets everything right, the visuals, the sounds, Factor 5 knew what they were doing...a shame that all those other Star Wars game developers didn't or don't have the same talent. Most Star Wars games that I have played are full of mistakes, especially when it comes down to sound.

This is the only game I still own for my old GC. Such a masterpiece..and this will always remain as one of the most epic/my most favorite mission. I just wish they would release it in HD since GC games look washed out on a 1080p HD tv.

you could probably solve that by doing one of two things. Lower the resolution on setting on the TV to 720p to lower the amount of scaling done and then if that fails, just use a smaller TV. Smaller Display with fixed resolution= Higher PPI

I never understood why they had the s-foils close on the X-Wing when activating boosters. I guess it's so the player wouldn't abuse it, but it's so annoying, a recharging bar would have been better, like in Starfox.

I dont know either, I like it just because it's like a speed mode and I feel like going fast and stuff. Can X wings even fire when activating their boosters in the movies?

***** No idea, though in the movies I don't remember X-Wings ever closing the foils during battle. I think it's something Factor 5 came up with.

If I may make a suggestion... you'll get a much better feel of the battle and you will not die if you attack the star destroyers as shown in the movie: that is, by staying very close to their hull all the time. Basically, aim for the triangle tip, then stick to the hull while rushing towards the shield generator. It even works pretty well in ace mode... :)

he being honest, battlefront, is the best game play of star wars role, but the best space combat simulator is definitely rogue scuadron, detail, movement, sound, mark him as the best game of war ships, .. shame that there is even a 4th part for the wii u
