Late but it actually does matter. If you have regeneration crystals, you get your health back faster.

PyroMedic Janas 3 ways I found to do it easier: 1. Run around the platform like a headless chicken. 2. Stay stationary and constantly force grip incoming rockets and when the AT-AT comes focus everything you have on it. 3. Do both 1&2 at the same time. (Running around then stopping to deflect a rocket.)
