Man I'm glad you get it. So many reactors forget this show is a targeted for a younger audience but Filoni still shows some adult themes like in TCW and Rebels. Thank you for recognizing the relationship between Tech and Omega from the last episode and how that growth is shown in this one. The contrast between Benni and Omega was an excellent example of being treated as an oppressed individual versus an equal member of a team. When Omega nodded at Hunter and trusted he would be there to catch her on her "leap of trust ", man that's good story telling.

I always thought I might have been the weird kid who was for some reason fascinated with gonk droids. Ever since I had seen the one that's on screen for seconds in a New Hope. I was like: "That walking fridge robot is neat." I never would have thought we'd get an actual Gonk cast member.

This episode really surprised me, I knew I would enjoy it but I REALLY enjoyed it. I really liked Benni as a character so much he was surprisingly so endearing and I hope we see him again. I wish he could’ve came with us. Makko had such a badass design and voice, even for a Zygerrian. The character designs for the children were very steampunk-esque which I loved. The atmosphere was so dope. Action was awesome as always, I loved Omega and Benni teaming up and the children revolting at the end. Also, love how Gonky is actually part of the family to our bois and Tech had the best line in the episode at the end there. I struggle between a B+ and an A- for this episode, but its either or for this one. I can’t wait for next week.

Zygerrians look cat-like, but Mokko looks more like an armadillo 🤔.

She may not have stolen it but she does have to answer for being willing to leave them behind like she did

I think Syd might have a nasty surprise waiting for the Bad Batch when they return from this mission. Who knows? Maybe the explosive nature of the Ipsium will come in handy again...
Am I the only one who totally got an "Oliver Twist" vibe from this episode?

7:56 Is it me, or does that guy in the mask and goggles kinda look like Sokka from Avatar The Last Airbender?

While certainly a simplification, this was definitely an Oliver Twist inspired story. Good stuff. Also, down with the bosses! Workers seize the means of production!

I hope this is the end of their relationship with cid. She is so annoying, she needs to get the middle finger from the batch

I was thinking that too. Time to settle somewhere and run occasional missions for Rex. These men are some of the best soldiers ever but with Omega they may want to settle down between missions.
