Love it; if I can't ever find a Tarkin, a Veers will make an excellent substitute. I like how the old commanders were officious, in the modern movies they spend the whole time screaming and shouting. Everybody knows that bureaucrats are the true evil in the galaxy.

I was so excited when I saw this figure awhile back I actually just got mine today! Super happy went on a random hunt luckily I only had to check two Walgreens and got him for 13.99! General veers is my favorite character in the entire Saga. This figure looks absolutely fantastic. My main gripe with the black series lately is that it seems like everything is an exclusive. This figure should have been distributed for wide release.

General veers is the epitome of the Empire and of Star Wars. He is one of the most important characters in The Empire Strikes Back which is arguably the most important episode in The Saga. I agree with you Mike, bring on all the Imperial officers. I think just about every collector would welcome all of them

Awesome figure. Hasbro Black are a little pricey so I usually buy them on clearance. I cant help but notice a resemblence to the Mimban Mud Troopers in Solo when this figure is kitted up with the helmet and chest plate.

i think is the other way around, the Mud Trooper resemble this guy, but yeah, i think the chest plate armor shape is pretty standard. K-2SO has the same shape chest.

I think this is interesting , Cassian Andor figure in General Veers box. Not random either. Out of 10 Veers boxes on the shelf ,only 1 had Veers. All of the rest had Cassian Andor. Wish I could attach a photo.

@@MikeKaess The weirdness continues. Kylo Ren in a General Veers box! Another Walgreens exclusive. They only had the one. Of course I bought it. I also took a lot of pics in the store to show as best as I can that it really happened. General Veers is one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars universe. I have 3 out on display, 10 unopened in the box, 3 Cassian Andor in Veers boxes, and 1 Kylo Ren in Veers box. I just think it's funny to see a picture of General Veers and have a Ren figure looking out at you.

I’m mad that I didn’t pick up the “Death Star Briefing Room” boxed set years ago. Maybe, just maybe Hasbro will be refrying this officer mold multiple times (like this one after Tarkin) and I can scratch that long itch of regret with other Black Series officers! Mike well it happened on the way home from work today my routine stop to pick up photos at Walgreens looking behind the same tired beat up Black Series figure (Thats been there for more than a year) I netted 2 of the Veers figures that I only just learned about from this video! All told there were about 6 and I hope some kids find the others otherwise I will be back for more if they sit for awhile it will be Walgreens reward points redemption time! Such a great figure. Incredible actor likeness. It is interesting, how few accessories can change everything. I think he is on top of my wishlist, but it would be hard to get him, considering that I can only buy online. Last week I bought AT-AT Pilot figure from Amazon and they sent me two by mistake. @@gentugo I just stopped by Walgreens again on a whim, but nope. When they had the Emperor's Wrath Darth Vader there were like 6 or 7 available -- and it had been out for a little bit. But this one is really hard to find unless you buy from a scalper. Sometimes if it's one I *really* want I'll pay the extra $2-3 some charge, but $5, $10, or more? Nah. I like General Veers, but I don't love him that much. I wish they'd also come out with random Imperial officers. My Tarkin needs company.

Looked among the empty pegs and saw 1 General Veers along with two other Black Series figures I already had. So I thought to myself that this wasn't a total loss because I was able to get a Veers, and the last one to boot. The shelf price said 19.99 as usual and I was totally willing and expecting to pay that. I had one energy drink and the figure and the cashier asked if I had a Walgreens card, which I did. She swiped it, scanned my items and said my total was 6.46. I started to question her but I said screw that and just got my items and split. Looked at my receipt once I got out the door and it had the proper info for the figure at the price for 1.99 /18.00 OFF. Blew my mind.

I do appreciate decent figures. I really fell away from Hasbro for a while. Our Wal Mart's and surrounding stores didnt get many Black series runs. I never saw a Chirrut Imwe or Baze Malbus figures. Didn't see hardly any 40th anniversary figures except the big 4, Han, Ben, Luke, and Leia(ick!!!). Scalpers and limited stock made these figures, Tusken Raider, Jania Solo, Darth Revan, were more examples, next to impossible to find. Ebay had em for $50 up to over $100. I paid $80 for a Slave Leia and vowed NO more. So I started getting SHFiguarts, Mafex, etc. I figured if I had to pay premium $$$ I wanted a premium figure. So I got a couple here and there. Baze and Chirrut off BBTS, R5D4 pre-order Gamestop, and 2 Jawas off another pre-order. I don't like all the negativity that's happening. Civility has left now, I'm sure your aware of what I mean. One comment can spew hate. It's the same now with Hot Wheels. Another hobby I used to love but am losing faith in. Everything is butt-backwards. Collectors are now seen as scabs, scavengers, and creepers. Ask a question about stock, NOPE no here. Whats on the shelf is it. Sometimes that's true but I was a manager at Wal Mart and the employees hate Hot Wheels scalpers(they are the worst), with Stsr Wars, Marvel, oh and Pops close behind. It sucks that what used to be a community of FANS, has turned into a Hobby of hate. I get the passion, I have it too. I have STRONG dislikes about certain things but to belittle and attack someone for not following? Really. I'll shut up, since I don't want to start any arguements.

I'm in the north east of PA, and have plenty of Walgreens, few years back I was hunting Down the Walgreen exclusive white boba fett, and got some insider info that " scalpers/ ebay whores" where making friends with the minimum wage stock boys , paying them off and getting inside info on date of delivery and stocking dates..! Even to go as far as holding them in the store room until the scum bags ,showed up to purchase the case fresh off the truck.

General Veers prepare your men. Good review, but yet another obscure character? I get it, he looks good. Too bad the earlier figures look hideous...well some. Leia!! But Hasbro FINALLY adds accessories and doesn't like you mentioned and didn't just do 2 different figures. Being Original Trilogy will help but will they sell? Or can you find it? Good luck. Happy hunting but beware of Vultures...I mean scalpers.

As soon as I left Walgreens yesterday, I saw the guy behind me come out with the last 3 in his hands while I was chatting with a friend in the parking lot. I don’t know if he’s scalping, there’s legit reasons to buy 3. But it made me sad still.

@@MikeKaess Yeah, this is true. I got multiple figs on pre-order for a favor to my buddies. But I gave them the figures exactly what I paid. I didn't jack em up. Even though eBay had them for $60 ea. I used to get 2 at once. Keep one mint in box and one loose. But $$$$, amount of figures I wanted, kinda the $$$ again, and lack of them available. So I stopped the 2 deal. I now only grab one, unless it is a SUPER RARE Chase, but I never see one Chase let alone 2. As for the other thing....I have gone on rants above things, not attacking people, but saying EXACTLY how I felt. And the motto hate breeds hate is true. And besides what good comes from doing that. I've seen and have been on both side of the coin. It's awesome to be passionate, but not to the point of verbal grenades. Thanks and can someone tell me when we are getting a Dooku figure(Hasbro), or maybe Zeb(Rebels), even Ventress or Shaak Ti would work. A Jedi set would be nice. Windu, Fisto, Mundi, Luminara, etc. Just a though.
