I'm going to be kind of the person to be sort on the contrary here and say that it is at least a cool idea. I would say that it is at least even better than whatever the hell Credit Collection is which nobody asked for more so. However, not everyone including me are interested to get repaints of beloved characters just in hologram deco especially for the price and would still rather have a new proper figure instead although it's not like I really collect Star Wars figures anymore.

The force ghost or holo image figures aren't a bad idea... if they had released them 1 per wave over a few waves. But a whole wave of this shit? Did they learn nothing from those gold and silver painted bullshit waves?

In 10 years the Black Series will be dead and gone, their just too expensive. Star Wars collecting will be dead. And then they'll start all over with the core 12 figures, they'll succeed but like always mess it up again.
