No clue if anyone knows but I preordered mine from GameStop in February when it said it was available for April 1st. Mine still says awaiting order availability and I am extremely confused to whether or not I have to wait for a restock or if my order is coming soon and just not marked as shipped yet.

I was having that issue too I ordered mine from them but they delayed my order to April 12th so I ordered mine from target on the supposed release date April 1st and target came through and my order is coming tomorrow.

Same here. Pre-ordered in November with a shipping date of April 1, 2021. Now my order says "awaiting product availability" and the helmet isn't even on GS's website anymore. I'm expecting it might be June since many of the other retailers say that now.

In terms of electronics I don’t think this helmet falls short. In the show he doesn’t really have any features that stand out on the outside of the helmet so the flashlight is a neat inclusion even if he used it for one episode. Personally wouldn’t want a voice changer either because black series voice changers are notoriously bad.

Totally agree with you! It just seems wasteful to have the light sit in a drawer. I would have much rather preferred a piece of imperial beskar that I could display next to the helmet or something.

I just got my preorder today, it's absolutely beautiful, but the inner strap part had to come out, I could fit in it, but it felt more like it was clamped to my head. Probably gonna get a decent balaclava or something just so it fits nice and snug. Generally very pleased.

After filming the video I realized you could take the strap out! And yes I’m definitely doing the same. I’ve done that with 2 other black series helmets! Good call!

I have the ANOVOS mando helmet it’s great the downer on it is the weathering,not too much but would have preferred it not to be at all, the EFX helmet has the same issue.. I have my black series on the way I am highly impressed with the black series version.. I may mod it and the replace the visor it’s not dark enough other than that it’s impressive.

I just ordered it, and it will come in under a week. Im extided. Only down side is that I live in finland where everything costs more. I ordered it from germany, and I luckily got 20 prosents off, it normaly would have cost 150e or 160dollars but I got it for only 120e.

yours was the best review but no one reads the manual. How does one expect to be credited for a review without taking a few minutes to read the manual and have a complete understanding of all it's functions. Not one reviewer could be bothered to do so. One dolt thought his was broke! Next time try to add a bit of legitimacy to your "review" so that its not just a show and tell, minus the tell.

The price? That’s pretty expensive for a plastic helmet. You can get a metal one for cheaper than this one here in the U.K. this one is the price because it’s official, it’s a crazy price for what it is though.
