Bryan did not cry as much as he did for The Mandalorian season 2 finale, but this finale still had so many emotional Star Wars moments. Grogu pestering Mando to hit the booster was awesome showing that his returning to their relationship may be the right choice. Also, it seems Grogu has a lot more force training than we might realize...he may have had extensive training from Yoda already that he just needs to recall?

Grogu will get lots of practice with the force on the quest with Din to find the Living Waters. Grogu will have to force-lift a lot of rubble for Din to find the entrance to the correct mining tunnel leading to the waters.

I actually saw Luke giving Grogu a choice as breaking away from the Republic-era Jedi way of doing things. It's strongly implied that the Jedi would basically kidnap Force-sensitive children "for their own safety" and to raise them as Jedi. Luke gave li'l G the choice that he probably didn't get the first time. Can't wait to see the on-board videos from the Halcyon. And Obi Wan just got announced for May 25th! Just in time for Celebration!

I was never into Boba Fett, and wasn't really interested in this series when it was announced originally. So let me say, I was really won over by this show and now I'm a total Boba Fett fan boy. Temuera Morrison is such an amazing actor, and the kindness and love he brought to the role was so heartwarming. I loved how much screen time the Sand People had, and now I'm really into Tatooine as a location I want to see revisited. This whole series really made me fall in love with the Star Wars universe more than I was before. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I didn’t see Luke making Grogu choose between Din and the training. It was more like advice. He did tell him Din would only be a small part of his lifespan so may as well spend some time with him.

The mandalorian was about the basic connection between child and a parental figure. While the book of boba fett was more about boba not wanting to have the same fate as jango; who got too cocky and wanted work solo. Being in the sarlacc pit for 5 years had given him time to think and time to lust for companionship. His journey after the sarlacc is all about finding your people and sticking with it and wanting to protect it (the first being the tuskens, the second being the people of mos espa)

I read a good point about Grogu's decision of not being a Jedi, in season 2 Ashoka said that he had trained for 20 years with several masters. Maybe his heart never was in it and Luke could sense that he doesn't give his all, so instead of keep pushing him towards something he doesn't want it was better to offer him a way out 🤷🏻‍♂️😊

Hey, new to the flight crew. My favorite part by far was the kaiju battle between the rancor and droid. Rancor and Grogu nap was a close second. Also, just wanted to thank you for your Batuu bounding videos. They've been a lot of help as I've been putting together my first bounds for my Galactic Starcruiser trip. I believe that the name "The Book of Boba Fett" is symbolic since he is writing (living) aa new chapter of his life. That's why we see the memories to build the back story of his objective. And the death of Cad Bane is also simbolic because it is Boba closing the chapter of his "wrong" ways. I love the show and can't wait for season 2

Back to the Boba Fett post at hand, I personally liked this episode and really enjoyed the overall season. I was surprised that there was no big character reveal, but I LOVED the action and I am giving this a 8/10. There were so many amazing moments from the Finale of "The Book of Boba Fett"... Peli reuniting with Grogu, Boba's showdown with Cad Bane, Fennic rescuing the Mods (and complimenting their manners), Din reuniting with Grogu, BK returning to the Sanctuary, the Freetown citizens teaming up with the Mods... If I had to pick just _one_ of those moments, though, it's got to be Boba showing up on his Rancor because it's a great call-back to Episode 3 of the series. Looking forward to your reaction to the maiden voyage of the Galactic Starcruiser - I hope you enjoy yourselves.

The whole season was great and the finale was nearly perfect story telling. People who can't see that are blind because they are focusing on a single patch of a patchwork quilt and can't see how each unique episode was all part of the same quilt that was beautiful. This Book was a real challenge to the fans because it was so unique in the story telling from the way of using flashbacks to the tie--in with the Mandalorian. The adults in the room are those who can see that this was called The Book of Boba Fett because Boba Fett's story was at the center but that the whole story is the Star Was story that includes everyone who appeared, including Asoka and Luke, and whether he was on screen or not, it was Boba Fett who was the common denominator of the interactions of these people.

I had a few explosions of emotions this episode. Love the show and all the details they are bringing and also the storyline intertwining. Your reactions pretty match mine although I didn't call Boba fett riding his baby boy like you did and also team rocket fighting fighting together was epic especially when the Freetown settlers showed up. I can only hope with Mando and Luke staying true to the old ways they will infact meet up again. Maybe Luke can teach him some dark saber training along with grogu training with the force still. So many possibilities.

20:36 - I suppose it depends on how long Filoni and Favreau intend to keep Grogu in the over-arching storyline, but I suspect we're going to see Grogu undergo the challenge that Luke feared: problems because of emotional attachments, possibly leading Grogu down a dark path. At some point, Din will likely realize Grogu simply must have a trainer, and will seek an unconventional one. Ahsoka has been seeking Thrawn, and with him, Ezra Bridger. Assuming Ezra is alive and in any shape to teach, he's an unconventional Jedi: the first we know of to have been trained outside the Jedi order, an orphan, gifted with a strong force affinity to animals, and a friend whose teenage years were spent working with a Mandalorian. All qualities that would dovetail perfectly with Grogu. And that would allow Luke his Jedi academy where Ben Solo is the first student, while at the same time keeping Grogu away from the tragedy to come.

You all were giggling and may have missed that line. :) ....Force Calm is the power Grogu used against the Rancor. You dont necessarily HAVE to put it to sleep. Anakin Skywalker uses it in Episode 2 enough to calm the Rhino looking beast in the arena in order to jump on and ride him to rescue Padme. It's a power to be learned in Star Wars video game KOTOR.

Seeing Cad Bane, live action, was amazing. Hope they really didn't really kill him off. There's so much they can do with that character.. Also, I heard that they didn't want Grogu to choose to be with Luke because then that may imply that he dies at Luke's temple by the hand of Ben Solo.... Yikes.. If you haven't seen it, go check out the side by side shot of Luke's temple being built, and it being burned to the ground. Looks to be the same. GREAT REACTION VIDEO.. !!!

My theories 😄 Cad Bane wanted Boba to be the one to kill him. He was old and he kept pushing Fett to fight him. He probably took the job because he heard Boba was alive. It was a gunfighters end. My other thought is only Jedi have books 📚 I don’t remember anyone else reading books in Star Wars except the Jedi.

I feel like the emotional connection of the series fell flat because, besides a handful of teenagers, the people of the city didn't fight at all for themselves against the Pykes... And Fennec kept saying they had enough people to fight a whole syndicate with Krrsantan's and Mando's help.The dynamics just felt kind of... weird. Like is there a big threat or isn't there? Can a few people handle a handful of Pykes or is there an entire entrenched syndicate swarming us and unraveling our society? Make up your minds? It would have been cool to develop more of Mos Espa, to see why Boba Fett picked it and why he loves this place so much above the other cities he'd been through as a bounty hunter. Like maybe the teenagers could have tried talking to their parents or friends to try to help against the Pykes, too, and whether they joined the fight or not, questions could have been raised about what they're all willing to fight/die for and why. I think what you said about Mando/Grogu hitting us in the parental feels and the impact of that is spot-on. I think they missed out on the opportunity of hitting us in the "fight for our homes no matter the cost" feels. That aspect of it was just...extremely underdeveloped. (Woo, thanks for letting me type that all out, I needed to sort through what was niggling for me!) That said, I looooved Boba Fett + the rancor, and Grogu and Mando's reunion, and Boba Fett and Mando's jet packing together, and Grogu and the rancor napping together. :)

The Book of Boba Fett was okay, it had some good moments with to be honest best episodes were 5 & 6 but yeah that is about it for I think they could've done better. Also we definitely can break away from Skywalker for there are so many things to draw from, but if we don't then I'd love for them to draw from "Children of the Jedi" "The New Jedi Order" and "Legacy of the Force" which are all around the time of the new Jedi academy being formed and then later Jacen Solo turning to the dark side and so many other amazing stuff.

I don't think Bane is dead because he has a tracker on him and we didn't see his Droid, Todo. And we saw Ton of droids this season. Favorite part of this episode, between Fennec's methodical slaying of the town leaders and Pyke's, Mando and Boba flying, and the Rancor stuff. I can't pick one.

Overall, I enjoyed the show. Made me care about Boba Fett more than I ever did. Compared to Mandalorian, this was just fine. If they did a season 2, Im sure they would totally focus on Boba Fett but I dont know if I see if Boba will get a season 2. I trust Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau whatever they do with this and the "mando-verse tv series." They both are like big kids playing with their toys and having fun with star wars making me appreciate them even more; having fun and imagining just like us.

Qi'ra would have been the perfect "big bad: for the series but I have faith a Qi'ra lead Crimson Reign will be in the works on D+ eventually it is inevitable. I thought this series in a whole was so awesome! As a huge Clone Wars Fan I thought Boba taking out Cad with such a long storied history between them was perfect, there is plenty of chances to see Cad again( Solo 2 mabey 😉) One arc I really wanted was the Woman Tusken still alive coming back to help save Boba to bring that story arc full circle and would have been more of a heartfelt ending for Boba but who know maybe that is still in play down the line.

I like the parts with Boba and the Tuskens, but just never got any deeper connection to a lot of the story. There's definitely more to learn, Boba could unite the different Tusken tribes, what role will a spice free Tatooine play in the galactic chess game? The finale was better, but still wasn't even in the ballpark with the 2 Mando episodes! A bit of a roller-coaster for me.

I enjoyed the show for what it offered. I’m a new Star Wars fan, so learning Boba’s past and his current state of mind was enjoyable. Nonetheless, this show has flaws and sometimes the story-telling was confusing. But still, it is a Star Wars content that I enjoyed.
