Ok, this is a crazy arc so I recommend you ask as many questions as possible to fully understand: The Ones, or as everyone calls them, the Gods of Mortis. It can be said that the Force created "people" who are supposed to take care of it. They are ancient beings of the Force, and their connection is so deep that one could say they are literally the personification of the Force. Only through the Force are they able to manifest in physical form. In practice, however, I would call them Masters of the Force. The Force is under their control. The Daughter is a symbol of the light side, life, balance and harmony. The Son is a symbol of the dark side, instability, but also emotions. The light side wants to defend the balance while the dark side wants to control and become the balance itself. The Father serves as the guardian and maintains balance between his children (dark/light side). The Father cannot allow anyone to access this power, as someone unaware of this power could use it in the worst way. The Sith are an obvious example, but users of the Light Side would also be harmful, even if they wanted to do something good. However, he knew he would die. These beings are immortal; for them, the death of their physical form is a new beginning, but the Father did not know what a new beginning meant. That's why, for the first time in 30,000 years, he revealed himself to others because of the Chosen One, who he believed was the only one who could replace him. According to him, Anakin was the only one who could control this power. It would be a New Beginning which he thought would be the best because he would have partially control it before his death As an interesting fact, I can tell you that many fans believe that after Vader's death, Anakin took the place of the Father. And this is one of the potential New Beginnings for the Morstis Gods. Father (balance) dies and meybe Son takes his place. What would happen then for the Force, the Son and the Daughter? I don't know, we can only speculate. It could be something positive or negative or neutral. Anakin as the chosen one killed all the Sith and Jedi, thus restoring balance to the Force. However, balance does not mean that only the Light Side remains. There is no good without evil. There is no light without darkness. What do the Nightsisters do that is harmful to the balance, using the dark side, or other orders and organizations based on the dark side? For example, the Knights of Ren, who rely entirely on the use of the dark side in a similar way to the Sith. Anakin only got rid of those who negatively influenced the balance, namely Palpatine, the last of the Sith who had been seizing more and more power in the Force for generations for themselves, and the Jedi, who instead of serving in the name of harmony and balance, literally helped the Sith and aided in destroying the balance in the Force. Jedi had a choice to follow the path of the Force and light, where the Chosen One was their friend and ally, or the path of Corruption and Arrogance, where the Chosen One stood in their way and destroyed them before their total downfall. That's why Qui-Gon didn't say, "Hey, Kenobi, Palpatine is a Sith, let's take him down." The Jedi had to decide their path themselves, and revealing the truth about the Sith's identity wouldn't have changed anything in terms of the balance of the Force because the Jedi would have replaced the Sith, continuing the destabilization. And I see you know who Mother is. Yes, it's Abeloth with her creepy smile. Here is her backstory: She was originally a mortal, but she had the perfect ability to mediate conflicts between the Son and the Daughter. She didn't want to die and leave her family, so she drank from the Wellspring of the Dark and the Light. She thought this would make her immortal, but it indeed made her immortal in a horrifying way, turning her into an abomination. Abeloth is the embodiment of everything worst in both the Light and Dark sides. She is the literal symbol of death. Currently, she is imprisoned by the Mortis Gods to prevent her from harming anyone. Was it Qui-Gon? After death, he became one with the Force. However, he could not manifest himself in the form of a Force ghost. But here, this planet is a creation of the Force, and he could appear to Kenobi here. So, yes, it was him. And Ahsoka's vision is true. Adult Ahsoka says she must leave her master or she will never see her future. Since Anakin becomes Vader, this is indeed true.

Both eu and canon agree that obi Wan wasn't ready to take anakin as an apprentice. It doesn't help obi Wan was also to young as well so their relationship was more closer to brothes than what it should have been which was master and apprentice. Also funny you say open minded member on the council to help anakin. In legends, Yaddle, the female Yoda, was kid anakin support because anakin got bullied by his fellow padawans for being a prodigy and anytime he wanted advice on his feelings of loneliness or otherwise other masters just said go meditate on it. She was different and would lsiten to his worries and help him soemwhat. She would have been the best option if not for her demise saving him and others.

It's also odd that the council would allow obi-wan to train Anakin when he just saw his master die, that must have also impacted how he handled Anakin; Yaddle did seem understanding from the the little I saw in Tales.

@@girlsavorscreen she was one of the more compassionate jedi especially with her experiences she had. Her demise is different in legends from the nu canon in tales. Though they kept somewhat the time period of her dying which was between ep 1 and 2 which is when she gets replaced. If I recall they chose obi Wan because he was the one master anakin knew really as he learned all other basic Padawan training too quickly plus he didn't connect with other masters as well.
