@@washburnepiphone nope. Rey is a mary sue. Her first real fight: she beats kylo ren, a man trained for years in the use of the force and lightsabers. She had no training and her only difficulties were getting surprise fus ro dah'd into a tree (which imo shoulda broken her back and then set up a better plot in which she has a metal spine and has to overcome the fear of facing kylo again. I mean, kylo was a very powerful person and easily cleaved finn's spine, but for some reason an attack that would atleast cause some spinal damage didn't do much to rey) and one failed mind trick. Starkiller trained for years, fought an old man, a crazy outcast and then a jedi master. There is a very good reason the game doesn't immediately throw you up against a jedi master for your first duel: starkiller's lack of experience killing jedi. Once you learn the basics of fighting a group of people, the limits they impose on themselves and their potential power, training to kill them and then successfully defeating 2 will bolster confidence and knowledge. The dark side having less vessels than the light, thus concentrating more power into each individual harnessing it, coupled with being trained by vader, a jedi killing pro explains his ability to fight a jedi master, as he didn't hold back like jedi are forced to, embraced the force and trained in a rare lightsaber form under the former top duelist below the top dogs of the order. Shaak ti was not on the same level as vader before his suit or after. So one can easily see why starkiller could beat her And starkiller had several flaws: he was controlled and decieved by vader for most of the game. Anyone would know why palpy's enforcer really wanted the rebels. He got owned by vader before he could react. He needed a jedi to teach him things. He got owned by vader a second time and then, when he finally bested him, he died because he trusted kota's judgement, which allowed sidious to attack. Also he technically failed his first mission, as kota lived. Rey beat kylo the first time they actually fought. Vader brutally trained starkiller to fight with broken bones, which gave him an edge that he earned: being trained to be a good fighter while so severely disadvantaged (broken bones and fighting don't mix well) means that without a disadvantage you are much more effective than someone who trained with no handicap even if they outperformed you in training. Starkiller made mistakes, got beaten and earned his skills. A mary sue is pretty much the exact opposite.

in addition to that reverse philosophy i just mentioned, a greater point is proved with the dark side ending. either way would have worked out well for vader and the empire -- the seige of kamino was all a setup. light side ending -- vader's taunts enact reverse philosophy, and starkiller agrees to take vader prisoner. vader is taken to a hidden rebel base, only to be followed by the dark side starkiller clone and boba fett dark side ending -- vader's taunts succeed, and starkiller attempts to strike down vader. instead of asking to die, vader is encouraging starkiller to fall for his trap -- to attempt to kill him so that the dark side starkiller clone could be deemed necessary to kill him

Well according to the DLC the dark side endings timeline ends with the Rebel alliance being destroyed and Sidious kills Vader for trying to overthrow him again, after Luke died on Hoth and Leia died on Endor, with Sidious then ordering the execution of the Dark Side Clone.

I remember clicking on this ending. The lighting around the button prompt tricked me into thinking it was a light side option. The instant Starkiller dies, I was just like "hold up wtf I didn't want this" and I just sat in complete shock lol Edit: also, I don't know if 0:27 was like that in the base game initially as some sort of glitch or something or if it was actually edited like that for the video, but that just felt so appropriately dramatic and eerie. So, according to interviews with the developers, Force Unleashed 3 WAS planned, but never happened. All we have is the initial concept, which would've seen Vader and Clone Starkiller teaming up to stop a new threat from the Emperor. My theory: since in the option between "Canon" Light Side ending, and the Dark Side ending is chosen while Starkiller has his sabers raised, this implies that the Dark Apprentice, this "Perfect Dark Side Clone" already existed in both endings. The only difference is that if you choose to take Vader alive, he doesn't interfere. So, I think HE would be the primary antagonist of TFU3. HE is the new threat controlled by the Emperor. If he IS a perfect Dark Side wielding replica of the original Starkiller, then he has the potential to be equal to or surpass Palpatine.

I found it strange how the evil clone stopped and looked at Juno for a second before putting his hood. It was as if he also had feelings for her but as soon as he puts his hood on, he was like, "I'm sorry" then leaves her corpse behind. Sort of like he regret for not saving her alongside Starkiller. If there was a third game, then maybe this scene is meant to foreshadow the evil clone betraying Vader for Juno's death with either the evil clone later taking over Vader's place in the empire or him joining the light side after forgiving himself for also not being able to save her. But then again, that would make this ending the true ending. Meh, who really cares since there is no third game. But still, something to ponder on.

MrKuger9 Well all the emotions of the dark clone are dead that's why he is "perfect" in a sense, because he could control all his feelings about Juno and I think when he looks at her corpse he fells hate because of her weakness and he said it when he was training with Vader in the clips...

D C yeah, the clone of the dead star killer dies. It's just depressing. The only thing is, where is the good starkiller clone or evil Starkiller clone (the one that kills you) in other movies/ shows/ books? I made my own storyline for the dark side ending: obi wan ends up killing the evil star killer clone Light side ending: good starkiller clone and Juno go into hiding, using hijacked imperial ships to deliver supplies to the rebels without the empire or rebels knowing

Considering that there's never going to be a third Force Unleashed. The Dark side ending for this game is the Canon ending. When the Rouge Shadow departs to hyperspace he ends up in the Unknown Regions. Boom story over that's a wrap guys.

1:46 Where did the clone come from anyway? Why didn't Kota warn StarKiller? The biggest question is, why didn't Kota or any of the rebels shoot while StarKiller was stabbed? I get that it was a moment of shock but there's no way they couldn't have at least damaged this clone. Then again if you apply it to real life this would've happened in 3 seconds.....
