Baras, Thanaton, Malgus, even the Emperor with his plan to exterminate all life. Now they at least have coherent leadership that managed to get all of them to play nice for the good of the Empire.

And thye kind of screwed us with the re-ignited war. There was no reason for the Republic and EMpire to go to war, right after they were crushed by the Zakuulan Empire. A cease fire | Treaty (?) | or Some military Amnesty would be better. I think a Mandalorian Conflist would have been better in a post -Valkorian Galaxy.

@@kalibi7276 as long as the Sith and Jedi continue to exist in the Galaxy, they are going to fight and if they don't outright, it is only a matter of time before they eventually do, which is something that reached its logical magnitude during the New Sith Wars (by far one of the worst conflicts the galaxy ever faced) roughly 1600 years after the events of this game. Their ideologies are just too incompatible to co-exist without issue.

The best part about all of this is that the resurgent Sith Empire doesn't even need your help in order to defeat the Republic. All throughout the Onslaught Expansion, the resurgent Sith Empire is clearly shown to have everything under control. Take for example the Battle of Onderon. As is clearly demonstrated during the Republic side of the mission there, Darth Savik is completely capable of manipulating both King Petryph and the Untamed into storming Iziz so as to provide a distraction as well as fully able to successfully reprogram Iziz's orbital defense cannons to destroy the Republic fleet as it approaches Onderon all by herself. It's only the last minute intervention of the Eternal Alliance Commander that ultimately saves the Republic fleet from total destruction. The same goes for the Battle of Mek-Sha, where it's plainly shown during the Republic side of the mission there that Darth Shaar and Major Anri are successfully able to both manipulate the local council into allowing the Republic fleet enroute to Mek-Sha to refuel there and hijack the failsafe that would destroy said Republic fleet completely as it refueled at the same time all by themselves. As was the case on Onderon, it's only the last-minute intervention of the Eternal Alliance Commander that prevents the destruction of the Republic fleet on Mek-Sha. And now for the best part: even after single-handedly saving both Republic fleets so that they could reinforce the Republic forces on Corellia in addition to committing the full strength of the Eternal Alliance (or what's left of it, anyways) to the Republic defense of Corellia (which is said to consist of virtually the entire Republic military and all of whatever's left of the Jedi Order, I might add), the Republic STILL ends up needing you to bail them out. Which brings us to the Battle of the Meridian Complex, where even during the Republic side of the mission there, it's bluntly revealed that Darth Malgus' and Darth Krovos' strategy goes off without a hitch. True to form, the Imperial fleet of Silencer-equipped Harrower-class Dreadnoughts punches holes in the main Republic defense line orbiting Corellia all while pinning down the Republic Navy. An act that paves the way for the Imperial fleet of Isotope-5-powered warships to break through said main Republic defense line which, in turn, allows for Darth Malgus and his elite Imperial Strike Force to land on the Meridian Complex, resulting in them successfully deactivating its orbital defenses and defensive shields, accordingly. And, in the meantime, the main Imperial fleet arrives on the far side of Corellia, far out of reach of the actual Republic defenses, where it successfully bombards the surface of Corellia and effectively forces the Republic to choose between stretching themselves too thin in order to save the planet surface or sacrifice millions of lives in order to preserve their already-crumbling defenses around the already-fallen Meridian Complex. The resurgent Sith Empire had already all but won the battle by the time that you arrived and would most certainly have successfully destroyed the Meridian Complex if not for the last-minute intervention of both the Eternal Alliance (which plugged in the gaps in the Republic defenses and effectively single-handedly averted a total collapse) and the Eternal Alliance Commander (who single-handedly recaptured the Meridian Complex, single-handedly defeated Darth Malgus and singlehandedly reactivated the defensive shields right as soon as the Meridian Complex was just about to be destroyed). The point being that had the Eternal Alliance opted to stay neutral and not intervene on behalf of either side during the Third Galactic War, then the resurgent Sith Empire would've easily crushed the Republic quite handily. Which is exactly why I always side with the resurgent Sith Empire as it can actually stand on its own two feet unlike the Republic, which always requires you to babysit it and wipe its ass for it 24/7. Either way, excellent video! Long live the Empire!

Almost every sith lord with a darth title has a name based on a Latin or English word. Sidious from insidious, Vader from invader, Tyranus from tyrannus, Plagueis from plague, Tenebrous from tenebrae, Thanatos literally from Thanatos and I could go on like that. It's not about running out of ideas but a naming tradition.

Also , Old dark council would never allow another Dark council member to outright kill another unless there was just cause and evidence of treason in some way, yet Darth nox kills ( 1 shots) a dark council member when there are other present , including the Hologram of acina. Which further shows his/her dominance , Wouldn't have any issue killing the other DC members in that room either, and acina couldn't do shit to stop it.

We've got at least 4 (5 if you take the Voss ghost) spirits, plus the bodily modifications from Belsavis and Voss required to contain that power, potentially the power of a Dread Seed from that questline, the lifespan buffa from Rishi, the power-ups Valkorion gives you of you accept his offers, the power of the Kotfe lightsaber AND Kallig's lightsaber (I added the sith marauder combat style to my sorcerer for the feel of wielding both)... Acina is a Paper Tiger, always has been. One of the buildings on Drommand Kas, she gives out a quest "Reclaim the Arcanum". Her space station, you kill the invaders and reclaim the Dark Seeds. She cant/wont do that herself. Acina is a weak fighter but intelligent. Yes, She is Weak considering the council members before.

Thats what kind of drove me nuts about nearly everything after KotET. Just felt like everything was going back to the way things were for no other reason than the writers didnt know what else to do. Kind of the problem with stories that go on for too long, where they have what feels like the end of the story in the middle.

Acina is playing nice because she knows full well A alliance siding with republic could doom her and B darth nox is far more powerful than her and one wrong move on her part would get nox even sooner to the seat of emperor

@@SvendleBerries I think the problem is that Echoes of Oblivion is the natural conclusion to the story that had been building since Shadow of Revan, yet it comes after Onslaught. If Echoes had come directly after the Nathema Conspiracy, it would have been fine. I think returning to the factions was a necessary evil, because the non-force using classes are really not worth progressing past Rishi from a story perspective. This allows classes like the Agent to shine once more, assuming it will be handled well going forward. The only other option would be to make individual, tailored stories for each of the classes, which is obviously never going to happen, so returning to the faction is at least a necessary compromise.

I never saw it that way. (Speaking in terms of lore, not plot) As a member of the dark council, our character has a lot of sway over imperial decisions, and it isn't as though we can be challenged, since we're arguably the most powerful figure in the galaxy. We're a shadow emperor, as it were. Acina is the figurehead, and we're the one puppeteering her

What bothers me is that our wrath cannot claim a position on the council like Nox, but the best they offer him is the anger of a ridiculously weak empress as accina and who is below him, he should at least give him the placed on the council as commander of the imperial forces, something like malgus and apart from an untouchable position on the council

Nah, the whole point of wrath is to not be on the council and to exercise power from outside the typical imperial hierarchy. the wrath becomes boring and pointless if you take away that uniqueness and make the wrath the same as the inquisitor

You will sit on the DARk council as Inquisitor, if you destroyed the Shipyards at Corelia instead of sabatoging it. If you are imperial loyalst you will be automatically given the option to sit on the council again.

When the SIS agent caleld you, you had a choice to break the relationship or continue it as Sabateur - that with destroying the shipyard will trigger the option to become Darth Nox again. OR maybe Inquisitor cannot join the council once they choose sabatuer I dont remember but the Warrior can. I just wanted to kill the Dark Counril Members lol

yeah they are extremely annoying but if you go the Saboteur route (which is highly reccommended) you can kill all of them except Krovos and Xarion ( who seem way morel evle -headed anyways. And it's very unfortunate that BW didn't work on the Dark councillors like they did wil malgus, Acina, and Malora. I mean Krovis just looks bad. Zarion and Rivix has the same aromor and IDk what they did with Savik. Vowrawn oufit look great. Didn't like Shaar's. They could have put Anathel in a Dreadmaster outfit and he would look way better.

This game is madly inconsistent , you beat arcann , vaylin and valkorian , yet a mere jedi padwan can use force push on you. Should be at the point now were only masters can get past your force barrier, with force abilities like force push etc. You 1 shot a dark council member , only other person to do that was valkoryian to darth marr. Granted the new dark council is weaker but still. Then we go to the next story point and a sniverling little no one , try to stab you in the back. Like where is the mf fear we demand. No one in the current empire including malgus is strong enough to beat our main character I.e NOX OR WRATH

They don't walk around with a Force barrier constantly raised. A Force barrier is typically erected in anticipation of a potential Force choke or push. Otherwise, they navigate the world as ordinary individuals. It's important to note that anyone proficient in the Force can execute a choke or push. For instance, Ventress once came close to choking Kenobi and Anakin to the point of death. Had Dooku not intervened by turning her own forces against her, she might have succeeded in killing them with a Force choke. The use of such powers is not constant but rather strategic, often employed in critical situations.
