Thanks for sharing your thoughts once again on this Hasbro release 👌 yeah... so I was aware the figure didn't reflect the dad-bod he had on the show. I was fine with this, he could easily be the Thrawn from 10 years before the Ashoka series. But now you've pointed it out, his lack of hight is a glaring issue to my eyes. Godontarnit Haslab for cost- cutting! 🤦‍♂️😵‍💫

Thank you and anytime! Yeah I could live without the dad-bod but that lack of height just doesn't work for me, and at that point they might as well just give us the 100% proper Lars Thrawn. Hopefully they'll re-try ✨🤘😁🤘✨

Definitely a bummer that they didn’t go for a more accurate torso for this Thrawn figure. It would have opened the door for other imperial body types. Equally bummed that they didn’t use new tooling for a full female body with the upcoming Dedra Meero. Great review as always!

Yeah, I agree they really missed a great opportunity here. Hoping for a more updated sculpt in the future! Same goes for the female officer sculpt, the upcoming Deedra really doesn't look phenomenal ✌️😎😎✌️

@@ToysAreTheWay yeah, I'm already looking around for some female arms and boots to go with the imperial chest sculpt to fix the issue. I think the thighs will be okay though.

I can see an easy custom waiting to happen there....animated thrawn hips/legs on live action thrawn upper 😉

Yeah that's the easy solution but those legs are taller but don't have the puffy pants look. ✌️😎😎✌️

@ToysAreTheWay I didn't realise he had the riding pants in Ashoka lol, are the lower legs any longer on animated version and are they compatible with live upper legs?

Sadly a massive fail for TVC Thrawn. I think I'll just be sticking with my Rebels version for now. Great review as always though.

Totally, I was certainly let down with this one. It's not awful, but it's just not great. The Rebels version is definitely way better ✌️😎😎✌️

I'd love to pick this guy up, it's just that he's *so* similar to the Rebels Thrawn I picked up not even a year ago. I think they should've released the live action variant first, then done the animated equivalent a year or two from now. Not that I don't love the animated one, he's just not as important to have at the moment.

Yeah I hear that, it really should have been a new sculpt. Which would have been nice to set the two releases apart. I think they wanted to get the Rebels version out to add to the Rebels line up and help world build around the Ghost. Either way I wanted both versions, but just wanted the live action version to be a different sculpt ✌️😎😎✌️

50 bucks say that Hasbro will redo this guy later. Cause that's what they do. So you have to perpetually buy all the time. Hasbro, you guys are bad. Get it right the first time.
