As some of you may be asking why Sabine continues to be featured in each round, I wanted to let everyone know why that is. With the way the tournament was run, the feature match was essentially decided before each round was paired. I had to pick a player to feature before the end of any given round, before the next round started. It was all a matter of chance as to who they got paired up against. My goal was to stick with the undefeated players up until there was only one remaining. Blake was the feature player for Round 4, but then he got paired up against the new feature player in Round 5 and 6, as I was trying to get different decks to the table. Blake was great, though. He was super kind and a lot of fun to have at the feature table. Thank you to everyone for the support!

Thanks for your support! As for Vader, I am honestly not sure. It has definitely dropped a bit in price over the last few weeks. The price was around $100 for a bit and is now in the $60 range. The most popular deck with Vader is Boba Green, which is still one of the best midrange decks in the game currently. Vader also does very well in Vader Green decks and Palpatine decks.

playing this deck at my local next tue...there is a lot of iden floating around.....wondering how to best side board for each match....what to take out ex. any pro tip for piloting the deck....always helps...thanks i will let you know how i did with the deck.

at 14:28 Blake could have hold steadfast and attacked with Fighters for freedom first. Patrick was fully tapped, had 2 characters in play (couldn't suicide both to avoid the ambush) and couldn't deal with Sabine, would have guaranteed two extra damage (assuming Patrick would have taken R2D2 before his attack) and a slightly better board (would start the next turn with a Saboteur and Steadfast)

That is totally fair. Fighters for Freedom was the only unit Patrick could deal with using one action. So I can definitely see holding steadfast until after the Fighters attack.

In the second game why did steadfast battalion attack instead of come in exhausted?

Blake used the epic action ability on his base (Energy Conversion Lab) to play Steadfast Battalion and give it ambush. That allows you to attack with it into another unit right away.

Sabine is such a tough matchup for Palpatine. I am curious if anyone has come up with a Palpatine list that has a solid winning percentage against Sabine.
