Thanks for another super entertaining video. ...and I agree with you on the Clone Wars Star Wars Black Series figures - almost impossible to find. One of my four local Targets had SIX "Echo" figures and I rushed over for when they opened (at 8:00 am) to luckily find all six on the pegs. Other than that, had to to "Second Market" and pay a bit more - but relieved I have them.

I love the arc Trooper figures but obviously the Kama on the Fives, Echo and Jesse is a huge downgrade, also I have seen hundreds of pictures of them online and I still have not seen a single one of either of them that has the helmet printing properly applied. Fordo on the other hand is IMO one of the best 3.75 SW figures of all time especially when you consider when he was released. I actually loved that Hasbro took a note from their Fordo with the new Rex from the Bad Batch that is part of the new impossible to get Amazon exclusive Bad Batch 4 pack, the Rex featured uses the exact same concept as Fordo with the soft goods Kama (though it is a bit shorter than Fordo’s which is good).

Yea i saw that on the Rex, thats a great feature. i actually didnt notice that about the helmets, i havent really looked at them that closely. how is it wrong?

@@CANTKILLCHEWIE they mostly look good in the promo shot but every single in hand picture is seen the visor printing isn’t actually perfectly on the visor and goes off onto the helmet also the blue markings are often off centered so it looks like the machine that printed the figures helmets was misaligned for all of them. If you look at in hand shots you will probably notice that the black visor often looks a bit squiggly because it is coming out of the molded visor slits on his helmet and getting where it’s not supposed to be. Great figures though overall minus the plastic Kama.

Re-issues and re-packs are seriously the dumbest thing in collecting!!! Does serious damage to aftermarket worth and rarity! Only way that I would personally accept re-issues and/or re-packs, is if the card backs designs were different, allowing older figures to keep their rarity and worth, due to differentiating design features! No offence to new collectors, but the constant demand from newer collectors for old/rare/expensive figures to be repacked and/or re-issued does a huge disservice to older collectors like myself and many others, who have been in the 'game' of collecting for many years (personally been collecting for well over 15 years). It takes away a sense of pride from ones collection, especially if you have a figure, or many figures, in your collection that are highly sort after due to their worth, rarity and lack of supply. Just my two cents as all, one of the biggest contending points for myself!

spoken like a true mint box collector! although i feel your pain, and that is a valid point, i have to disagree. a lot of times after a figure is re-issued, the original figure's price doesnt really move, or only drops initially when the re-issue is still available and shoots back up when the re-issue is no longer in stores. and if we are talking specifically about the TVC, they do sometimes change the front of the car, but the back of the card is always different. but i do agree that the re-issue card should have something different. and also, a lot of TVC figures werent great figures and definitely didnt have good head sculpts which are both problems hasbro corrects on the re-issue

When Hasbro announced the fan vote, I was really hoping that the Republic Trooper, Starkiller and Ahsoka were not the winner, but alas we all know the results of that now haha. I am glad to hear though, that the new Republic Trooper will have a different cardback (cardback being both the back side and the card art), compared to the original 2012 version, which I heard from you first, so thank you for the piece of information! Hope that Hasbro do change the card art, that is something that I wish all the new re-issues/re-packs would have done. Anyway mate, whats your current most favourite/rare/expensive figure you own? Mine personally is a TVC 2012 TCW Ahsoka Tano AFA Graded 9.0. Bought mine for $225 AUD at a local toy shop here in Melbourne, Australia and have come to realise it was a major steal, considering there is one currently for sale on Ebay for over $3k AUD and they sell for over $1k now on average!
