Tony, If you do have a spare leg, I would really like it.. I was going to try and mold one but would much rather have a real one. Thank you..

Your toy repair videos are awesome! Cleaning plastic with hydrogen peroxide?....hmmm interesting. I want to scrub those plastic parts and get out some white model spray paint! Can you imagine how bright and clean you could get that thing with a good solid model repaint? Your way of keeping it all original is better, however.

The hydrogen peroxide bath works well. Lots of purists aren't too keen on the method because it could degrade the plastic. In this case I am happy to give it a go.. I have often thought about a repaint on other toys that are in a bad way, sadly I am dreadful at painting. :-(

PalOfToys, I guess a true purist would want you to keep it the way it is but that....uh...SUCKS, ha ha! If the peroxide treatment works, that’s definitely the way to go, especially if nobody could tell you treated it. Painting it would destroy its value as a collectible, of course.

Lieutenant Miller I have a video where I give some Action Man helmets a peroxide bath, good results. I will do this R2, I have a big bottle of peroxide ready. The purists hate that and any 'destructive' repair, it attracts the thumbs down brigade on videos. In my opinion I'd rather have a display toy than a hunk of junk.
