Hello there Starbound, amazing video! I got a great story idea for your Miss Rimiki and Frairen series. Do you know Theravada Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism, sects of Buddhism that greatly differ from each other? I was thinking there should be a rival sect for the Mandarain main religion, which too worships Ioz, but they’re polytheistic and honor-bound. Let’s call this faction the Exiles, as they used to be the dominant religion of the Mandarain but were driven to near extinction by a “heretical cult” that is currently the primary Mandarain religion, forced to flee into a distant unsettled planet where they hope to regrow their strength and restore the ancestral ways. I was thinking for this story idea that mainstream Mandarains invade the Exiles’ planet, human do the same, thinking that this just a far-flung Mandarain colony, but then they notice the Mandarains fighting each other and one of the combating Mandarain factions seem different in uniform and iconography. How would the humans react to the schism? This should give the Mandarains more backstory and make them more interesting than cliched evil aliens of death.
