Thankfully, Starbucks is committed to sound principles of work ethic (they're done with the mutiny), AND ready to move on from supportive of our 'right to protest' everything from businesses and infrastructure to the law itself (hippie/activist ways and means have gone WAY TOO FAR) to vehemently opposed both to crime and also dissidence. The closure of the store delivers a sign, probably had everything to do with it's closure. There exists a great deal of honorable word over this matter. I'll take that cup of coffee, Mr. Schultz, and hopefully the values in the work, those beyond monies, becomes us first indulgence in a common and shared fine way of living and secondly whatsoever we might choose among the free and capitalist world. Seattle, Portland and San Francisco have long been 3 of my very favorite cities in the U.S. since I was a little kid. I still think they’re all amazing places, but man does it break my heart to see some of their decline in recent years or even decades. I don’t know what the solution is though.

Yeah the one in Pike Place market itself is the very 1st Starbucks ever. It's the original Starbucks where all the tourists go and the line is stretched out all the way down the street. It is still open. The one being closed is a different Starbucks and is nearby the original, but not actually in Pike place market itself.

As someone who worked for Starbucks for over 25 years I can tell you that basically and really crazy incident happened inside of the store. The manager and whatever partners tried to handle it internally and then finally had to call corporate. As a person who has seen the corporate cleanup team come in I can tell you personally they're the ones who blocked out the windows because the stores just don't have that on hand perfectly measured to every window. We just have no space to store things like that inside the store for possible emergencies where we'd have to block out things ,lol. Literally a store manager would not be allowed to to do or participate in anything like that on their own. The team that came in would have also reached out to all of the employees. The thing is with that is that and I don't know how they do it but they send you voicemails where your phone doesn't ring it just goes straight to your message with a full-on automated voicemail that says your personal store manager will be reaching out to you add a date and time and they'll explain that you still will get paid for whatever your schedule week was. But yeah something really bad happened in the store and they don't want to be liable in any way or have to explain in any way that could come back upon them or how they handled things. It's better to just lock it down until all i's have been dotted and all the t's have been crossed.

Pike Street Market is to dangerous day or night to visit simply because one may be a victim of being shot by a hand gun by some teenager with an handgun along with the despicable possibly of observing someone overdosing on drugs. Perhaps this may be (should be a ) a call out for more serious police enforcement along with the ban of owning or caring a handgun. Starbucks was a great Seattle institution when Seattle was a safe place to visit or reside in. Now the alleged Emerald city (an oxymoronic label) is just another city of grey hopeless city of Concrete…..a Fort Apache the Bronx West.
