Actually, Justine is wrong. I work at Starbucks, and the blonde roast actually has the most caffeine of any of our roasts. The longer you cook the beans, the less acidity and less caffeine there is to it. So while a dark roast may taste stronger, it's actually weak because most of the caffeine has been roasted out. Blonde roasts have sharper flavors more in line with sweeter palettes and the most caffeine. Medium roasts like our Pikes Place are the most universally appealing if you're just after a standard cup of coffee. My personal favorite is our Veranda blonde roast with a little soy and honey. Love your channel!

As a barista, this was super frustrating. MISCONCEPTION: Blonde roasts have less caffeine FACT: In a blonde roast the beans are roasted less, preserving more of the caffeine that can get eliminated during the roasting process. A DARK ROAST actually has less caffeine than the blonde or medium.

Thank you! That one thing bugged me a little. The lighter the roast, the more caffeine remains in the bean because the roasting process roasts caffeine out. One of the many reasons I enjoy blonde roast. :)

I love how the camera person, and/or the person who edits the video and puts text(s) in there. I loved when the camera person put a rewind and close-up of Justine when she stabbed the lime. The funny thing is, I love the smell of coffee, but I think it's that I haven't tried different flavors enough to find one I like, but I know I don't like plain coffee. Finally, I am that person who drinks Hot Chocolate year around. And next time I'm in town I'm going to swing my Starbucks and try a Peppermint Mocha. Love this video.

Green tea frappuccinos are made with matcha powder, and a red velvet frappuccino IS a java chip frap with a shot of raspberry. So you guys were actually right! And if you order some of this stuff at Starbucks, the barista might not know what you're talking about, since the secret menu isn't a real thing, it's just a bunch of modified drinks people made up. (Sorry, I'm a barista, I've run into this problem one too many times)
