Not many arcade games had the intensity of Sinistar. The sound effects were unbeatable.

These uploads are great. I used to love going to grade school and talking about what happened on yesterday's episode. Those were the days.

Geoff got him pretty good when he told him he programmed the robit with his jokes I think

I liked how the producers sent the signal to reboot games after every play.

Watching this is like a history lesson for me. But... you know, cool and not boring.

Ah yes, the beginning of the fascination with tedious "on rails" FMV games, the ultimate elevation of visuals over gameplay.

Astron Belt and Begas Battle are a good example of why laser disc games other than Dragon's Lair and Space Ace failed. The game play was straight out of the 70s, just with shiny graphics. We didn't care about shiny graphics them. We wanted new, modern game play.

"I don't like your jokes." Well... honesty will get you a lot of missed out tips on how to get the best scores, then. Gee. Talk about biting the hands that can feed you, sir. I swear. If it wasn't the Don Bluth gaming series and was a laser disc game, it never made it out of this era.
