Ruin attacked awfully bad a couple times, with zealots running forward in a big clumpy group and dying foolishly to splash from mines and tanks. I found it much more efficient to run zealots in smaller packs but constantly, so that once first bunch is dead the second one comes to replace them as damage soakers. Zealots die extremely fast when the fight is initiated but live very long once the mines and vultures are done and only tank lines are left. But no zealots at that point means all your dragoons turn into blue goo in seconds under tank fire.

Its crazy to me that, the protoss is so obviously unbalanced in broodwar. But because 1 guy (flash) is so good he can win with the handicap of playing terran. Everyone just acts like the game is balanced.

Its bullshit terran is the only race that doesn't get a psi free ground defense. The other 2 can defend their expansions with unlimited defence. Terran however has tp use its army which is the slowest in the game. Game is completely unbalanced

Do remember that bunkers + tank is incredibly strong, especially since they’re the only ones who can repair them while under fire. Meanwhile a damaged photon cannon is going to stay damaged forever, and a sunken colony needs to wait 5 minutes to get its health back, something not useful when it’s being actively shot at.

@@thecurbdog123 ...yes, they're expensive because they're as powerful as a photon cannon when filled with marines, even more powerful when stimmed right before, and can be repaired under fire. Only two with SCVs behind it can fend off most early attacks. Protoss would be so elated if they could repair photon cannons while its being hit by hydras, cuz right now they'd have to make like 6, which is way more expensive.
