I like how this guy actually understands that SC:BW Terran is about combined arms, not a simple all-in bio vs mech choice. SC1 races have fewer units, because you are supposed to use most of them in any given game (if it goes long enough).

they are def good, but a mech heavy build like that is actually probably easier for sc2 zerg to counter with air units because they don't have access to dark swarm

Late game BW Terran vs BW Protoss in this mod really comes down to who has better micro once the Terran player can afford to make Ghosts. They weren't a thing back in BW days because of how micro intensive they were and how much resources you had to invest in them, but here they seem to have higher HP and lockdown costs less energy, on-top of smart-casting making micro easier. There's no way to remove stasis, but if the Arbiters are locked down or EMP'd beforehand their Carriers will surely be locked down as well and then its game over for Protoss. So perhaps Dark Archons with maelstrom are their only recourse to stopping a Ghost heavy army in time.

feedback+maelstrom/psi storm equals dead ghosts, feedback is a very cheap spell that the CPU loved to abuse in BW

You know SC1 is missing a few units to go toe-to-toe with SC2 in professional level, because SC2 has 2 expansion and SC1 only has 1. So I think SC evo should consider that 😁.

Thats the idea behind one of the 3 versions the mod has, but development of that one is frozen atm until they finish the main version.

I think a good nerf to spidermines are to make them buildings, that was if you spot them, they are permanently shown in the minimap or something like that

Protoss aside, the SC2 races have a lot of really good detection choices, i think its unecessary since thats one if not the only thing keeping SC1 terran from getting slaughtered Not to mention if you are careful you can take then out even without detection

widow mines are literally so much better, just wait until u see a SC1 Zerg try to use dark swarm against an SC2 Terran that uses hellbat+ raven widow mines. Just having those options alone make defiler plague more necessary than dark swarm and possibly even more queen play

LOVE BROODWAR BUT PREFER THE OLD MECHANICS AND THE DEPTH OF THE OLD MAPS EVERYTHING FEELS SO CLOSE ON SC2 AND ITS JUSYT TO EASY SC1 MAKES U TRULY MULTI TASK
