2:35 Normally, we have to destroy the broodlings spawned from the Hydraden for the tutorial section to complete. The game checks if there are any remaining zerg units / structures once per second. If we destroy the Hydraden last and get lucky with the timing, the game will perform the check after the den goes down but before the broodlings spawn, saving a few seconds!

on the one hand that saves time, on the other it makes those missions incredibly hard to speedrun (The Dig is still the hardest speedrun-mission in all of SC2 😬)

Well done. I remember struggled so hard for the achievements in this mission I decided to come here last with Void Rays / Time Stop and cheese the whole map lol. Who need Colossus anyways.

I never noticed that there was so little detection here to allow DTs to dominate like that, and that Shadow Fury would hit burrowed units without detection.

Wouldn't it be faster to delay Endion until after Slayn and Ravenscar and then use the trigger break glitch with purifier beam targetting (covered by GGG) to speed up this autoscroller from 2nd lock onward?

Pausing or loading a save is not allowed in individual level runs

yeah I decided not to use any saving/loading during the missions so I can't use those kind of glitches.

with save/loading you can also do other tricks like skipping dialogue that wouldn't be great for the viewing experience

And yet I’m surprised that in StarCraft itself there is an option to destroy all zerg before the megalith reaches the 3rd point on “hard”, while (supposedly) the fastest race, albeit on “brutal”, is on it is not capable.

The next task should be easier, because you need to destroy the capital buildings, which, in addition, do not have relatively high strength. There are, of course, some difficulties with the additional task, but I think that a couple of Vanguards should be able to cope with them (sort of).

They didn't give the bonus enemy detection, so you can probably imagine how I took him out! He still has 7000 hitpoints though, maybe the second toughest enemy in the game after the Xanthos?

Hello. Question: why didn't you delay this mission to get the ultimate spear of adun ability to do the bug that disables all the triggers in the game? I have understood that bug saves time.

I support widowmine nerf (my most hated unit) and sentry and high templar buffs (they sucked). I wish they also brought back the old dark templar instant attack after blink. I haven't looked into new maps yet.
