That liberator micro was kinda sloppy tho. He could've make ghosts instead just to emp or at least snipe infestors and vipers. I do agree that he could've won that game but he was not fast enough to attack the other side of the map for expansions

@@geuros idk is this standard zerg play? Because its very effective. It's like a domino effect that leaves the opponent unable to catch up, as long as you dont make any mistake

@@cleangoblin2021 there's plenty of things how to attack, it's just when you do it, that's how serral wins. Scouting which buildings are up for enemies. Are there roach counters? No? Then go early roaches. It's almost always case-case basis. He plays according to what he sees. I wouldn't be surprised if serral memorized all counters/costs and timing of resources.

Wow, that game number 2 has to be the best game of Starcraft 2 ive seen in years. I can't even remember seeing a game where players combined has lost 90.000 minerals. That was EPIC.

Kung fu cup is played during day time in Finland so thats why Serral joins this sometimes compared to weekly cups that are too late for his taste. He goes to sleep about 11pm normally and weeklys end closer to midnight or later.

game 1 was definitely 100% serral win game 2 was a serral comeback win, oliveira definitely had the advantage for a few minutes there game 3 was a close back to back early on but in the end serral just played the fights better. Thank you for the video!

3:40 it's a time energy question. it takes roughly 1 week out of your training to do a tournament, before mind and body is recuperated to be at normal training efficiency again; assuming no injuries was obtained in the tournament. so the question is if the loss through that 1 week is worth the gain from that tournament. as soon as big money is involved its also a calc question of where to morally lay your time, and moneymoneymoney it's about all that money :D it's kinda sad that the last 10 years. 10+ right?? all the best players of SC2 only played SC2 professionally bc they wanted the money, instead of the older ones where it was just people that loved playing all the time ^^ moneymoneymoney ;P

Franchement une amélioration sur les dommages collatéraux contre les unités alliés serait vraiment nécessaires pour les terrans c'est tellement frustrant de voir les unités anti mêlées (mines, chares)faire plus de mort chez les terrans que chez les zergs ou protoss. A pars les lancés flammes aucune unité ne peut faire de dégâts de zones ciblés Ou alors un ciblage par les tanks sur les dégâts de zones les plus importants pour l'ennemie et collatéraux les moins important pour les alliés

4:57 hehe yer, i've always wondered why not try to focus the supply? i mean terran NEVER has extra supply early/mid game, 2 depots down and he can't produce units for a while, that in itself is enough win to justify a little investment (and 200 mineral is 8 lings worth from the depo kills alone, depos are not that cheap early 4 lings per depo and not that much more hp).

5:22 if he had focused the supply here instead he could properly have won the game right there, it's 2 supply they die in 1,5 volley, that's 3 volleys off fire which they can easily tank and now T need 16 more supply just to built a unit and all there is is 4hellion 1raven, 1 marauder I think; so even 200 min lings would do wonders ^^

even here 8:01 just destroy the depos and no more units could be built for like a minute, honestly its the strongest tactic; bile the depos, stay safe, let the 4 roaches in main do some dmg, pull back built up for 30 sec more while the T can't built bc supply block, rinse and repeat and again 1 depo is TWO marines. if TWO marines exploded from the fight every time you biled down a depo, you would do nothing but bile depo's so why avoid killing them so much, even if it doesn't supply block which it would always do until late game

Do pro player get a feeling for if they have the updrades done, or are fighting a upgraded army without keeping check of the ingame timers? most of teh time you will know the time when it is done adn you can start teh next, but does it also get felt? for a lack of a better explenation? not even needing to click on a enemy unit to know you are ahead or behind the upgrade time?

I mean it takes a second to click on an enemy and see if they're upgraded. Most high level players will scout if they are building the upgrades and can work the timing out roughly from there.

Feels to me like Oli was trying too hard to get to that late game super efficient terran meat grinder composition, failed to notice his moment and use it. Most would probably just have bled out, but Serral is Serral, he'll hang on by a thread and wait for a chance. Oli backed off a bit to transition and that gave Serral enough room. Can't just back off when opponents are down, got to go in and kick them in the nuts, make sure down means out.

Serral is winning all the way through. Even he's under pressure he never makes any macro mistakes. Also Oliveria fails to kill any hatchery during the high tempo drop attacks, which means the zerg is not taking heavy damage.
