In game #2, Jimmy the Marine died just before every other marine decided to start using their shield. Maybe the research upgrade is just the marines being reminded of the video they watched in the barracks about proper use of your personal safety equipment.

It's got to be deliberate he only dropped 2 auto turrets for those 2 add-ons, and how right after it blew up the turrets ran out of life. He had to have done some testing for that strat.

The nice thing about a TvT (or ZvZ or PvP) match is that I don't automatically assume which player is going to win.

Maybe: stimpack and combat shield research figures out how to create those things out of existing marine suits. So the marines just need specs transmitted to them. Stimpack could be made out of the suit's battery hence reduction in HP

Maybe the upgrades are already in the back pack but need software update to be utilized, once researched they are uploaded via datalink and can be downloaded even in the heat of battle for use. Same for all other units :)

I typically prefer it when you switch the position of the names based on map position but when it’s the same race I think it gets kind of confusing. Might improve clarity if on mirror series the names stay maintain position in the ui.

that bit at 17:38 feels like a failed mind game tbh, i assume Clem was trying to bait Heromarine to lower all of his vikings, but then he'd lift his ones up the moment the other vikings would start to go down, so he'd have more time to flee, but then Heromarine only made 2 of his vikings go down to clean them up, completely denying his juke

Could you do a special video about your gaming set-up, your recording set-up, your recording software and settings, and what options you pick when uploading to KZbin? (yours always seem to have more detail than others, even when I watch both at 1080/60, and you both cast with the max in-game graphics settings??)
