Just remember that we sit here, not doing anything else than watching him play, while he is constantly going through the whole process of analyzing, planning and actually putting it all into motion, while still providing commentary. Second thing: Lowko constanty plays multiplayer, where the rules are different and some units/structures just useless, so it's only natural, that he's using the multiplayer knowledge in the campaign. Most of the people in the lower leagues do the opposite (and that's why they're stuck there). ;)

Ahh I remember the first time I did this on Brutal. I literally paused every split second to artificially increase my APM and plan out every 0.5 second of the game like a chump... good times. Great job, all things considered! Fun alternative approach: You could have massed those Hive Mind Emulators and rapid-fired them from a single control group. Kerrigan's AI actually completely derps out to Broodlords; in fact I can get about 30 Broodlords and about 130 Mutalisks on Brutal [They don't cost supply]. I bet you could have gone for a full clear if you did that strat. :B

Oh, hello there, Co-op veteran! Good to see you here :) In my days, I completed the missions by walling of with Planetary Fortresses. They were durable enough to survive incoming attacks while siege tanks behind them were clearing the ground. Yes, I was playing against Nydus worms. Also, fun thing I've tried to do - amassing like 10 Thors and Barrage Kerrigan down as soon as she approaches. That was really fun untild she imploded half of them into dust :(

Nydus seems far easier, beat it in one try on normal, then one try on brutal, no S&L needed. (I don't think I ever S&L on normal, except when I'm being anal on stuff like the secret mission where I want everything to live. Maybe did some S&L for some achievements? Had to S&L on maybe 5 missions on brutal) But then again, I read the mission guides on exactly what is going to happen before hand, that really helps. I actually had the hardest time on the last prophecy mission since I didn't know you could lift hybrids, that was a struggle on brutal. But once I knew, it was easy, one try with 1000+ over kill. The guide I read on that mission at the time was... very useless. There as a DT trick where you can supposedly go near infinite, but I never got that to work.

20 minutes into the video, Lowko is at 50% and is doing quite fine. My brain starts to work - what hilarious Lowko Difficulty must have happened later? Was not disappointed with random nova activation just before Leviathan :D Failure at 86% must have hurt.

The biggest Lowko difficulty was not killing the Leviathan. It constantly spawns units. He also could've mind controlled every brood Lord in the map and used them against Kerrigan.

"at first run Leviathan appears" - focus him down!...2 minutes later...he is still alive?! - After mission completion - wow, there were so much static defence that Lowko probably had an overdose. Expecting him not building a single piece of defence in HotS missions :) P.S. And the last thing (sorry): Kerrigan: Jim? Raynor: It's okay I gotcha. Kerrigan: Jim, (in Heavy voice) MY FLESH! I loved your choke points, I never would've thought of that. I simply covered the choke points that I already had and spammed the hide mind emulator and controlled every single muta possible. I had a mass of broods choke Kerrigan off and leave her at her spot while taking care of the rest of the units and controlling more mutas has time goes on.

Watching this inspired me to go back an play this mission again, starting a second command center at the start of the mission is HUGE, more SCV's more mules, more minerals, way easier. It was my first time beating All In on hard without having to go back to any save points at all. Then when I start watching again Lowko restarts and builds a second command center. I love it.

I rem doing this mission forever ago. Ghosts snipe make the queen die hella quick lol. on a side note it's driving me crazy through out this whole series that lowko put pretty much ALL his attacking units on 1 hot key. Half of them can't attack ground or can't attack air so they just go in and die, and he wonders why he loses them lol. (or he just leaves his units in those storms and they all die lol)

Man, first time playing got rid of Nydus too and then had all those Brood Lords sitting comfy outside of my turrets' range and said to myself "never again". Replayed the campaign to get upgrades fastest way possible and made sure to get rid of flyers. After that, hard and brutal was just trutle-ing up with tanks and Planetary Fortresses with a squad of Dusk Wings roaming the map.

After all the times I've played through the game, the dialog always gets to me. You read Tychus' last lines, you can feel the pain in his words, the conflict. He doesn't want to do what he has to, he doesn't want to hurt his pardner, but he has to do what he must. He just hopes Jim will be convinced, even though he knows he won't.

I think that overall this All In is harder than the Nydus version, since there you can focus entirely on anti-ground defense. That being said, using Broodlords against Kerrigan was super fun.

Don't forget to play the alternative missions as well. There are 3 missions still to be played. Or 4, if you want to play the last mission with Nydus worms instead of flyers, but you might have to play the whole campaign from the beginning again for that. I'm not sure.

No need to restart campaign for the alternative All In. At every choice (Hanson, Tosh, and here) the game makes an autosave for that very selection moment. Unless you have manually deleted the autosave (or played too long so that newer autosaves replace it, but not the case here), you can just go back to that selection and choose different campaign path.

Little tip on kerrigan, build another command center and when she spawn, throw a bunch of mules at her but not too much, just enough to trigger one of her storm. Make sure to ready waves of mule drops on her. Or make more command centers, minerals are very plenty and investing 800 minerals is better than loosing to her storms.

Atlantis357 imo air version is way harder, for nydus you can just mass tanks in the middle of your base and not worry about anything but on air you have to actually control shit to deal with attacks coming from 87 different angles

Chalo122790 Air is just massing Hive mind assimilators and fighting the Zerg with more Zerg. Kerrigan can't even beat 3-4 broodlords. She focuses on the broodlings but has a really slow RoF so they spawn faster than she can kill then.

If you ever played it on brutal you know this isnt true. Kerrigan has an immortal shield and can take around 80 siege tank hits. EDIT: If she uses the original immortal shield it would be around 150 siege tank hits.

always go for air supériority, no brodlings/mutas means you can swarm with banshees. Only other thing you need are a couple cruisers to take the leviathan down (they spawn mutas and broodlings)

Hey Lowko if you ever go thru the campaign again for your own enjoyment, know what will make this mission easier. While you like dropping mules the planetary fortress makes dealing with the ground forces much easier and doesn't affect the supply count. 3-4 of them at each entrance the zerg come at you at and scv's to heal it, will make it hold against most except Kerrigan and even with her it stalls her for a bit

Best way to deal with Kerrigan - a detachment of Reapers (about 2 full control groups). Thanks to damage type/armor type interaction, they deal HUGE damage to Kerrigan in no-time, and thanks to their jetpacks and those cliffs around your base they have no trouble leaving and coming back. Just use several to bait her abilities, then kill her. She'll never even have a chance to reach your base defences this way, if done right.

Lowko commenting on the artefact's size. Have in mind that, at the lab, everyone walked around without their battle armours. That made the thing bigger by comparison. Now that everyone is in Marine armour and there's a Viking next to it... well, you get the point.

41:40 those air units capturable you know, if you had captured enough amount of brood lords you could hold the line a lot better because they are really good at keeping enemy at siege tanks' attack distance.

@lowko i makes a lot of battle cruisers to use its ability to kill Kerriggan, that ability deal a lot of damage. also i put bunker at the junction to tank damage. they have higher armour. and i separated the hot key for the front unit and the healing drone. u just sent all the drone to die if just 1 hot key.
