THe original teaser trailer for Starcraft 2 was this one except without Arcturus Mengsk's Narration. So Tychus's "Hell its about time" was pretty much a response to all the fans waiting this long for Starcraft 2. THen the game actually game out several years later.

The Marine suit up scene actually inspired the first Iron Man suit up scene. Watch both and see how similar both were. This came out way earlier than the Iron Man movie.

If this looks familiar, it's because the first Starcraft was originally meant to be a Warhammer 40k game. Apparently GW pulled out of the deal when the game was still in early development, but Blizzard liked the idea of making a scifi RTS and had their own team of good writers to make a new story. They also probably didn't want to drop two games in a row. (RIP Lord of the Clans) And thus, Starcraft was born.

The first Starcraft is still very popular in South Korea, they play pro matches on TV.

Starcraft is basically the granddaddy of esports. Yes, there were video game tournaments decades before Starcraft ever came out, and also yes, tournaments have gotten a lot bigger recently... But Starcraft was the game that took things from "the guy with the highest score" to "the guy that plays professionally." There are several other games that undeniably helped shape epsorts, but Starcraft is the one that set the standard.

This isn't true at all, StarCraft was never meant to be a Warhammer 40k game. The game that was originally set to be a Warhammer game was the original Warcraft, which was being pitched by Blizzard as a Warhammer Fantasy game but after it got turned down they repurposed the assets into their own IP. Both StarCraft and Warhammer draw inspiration from various other sci fi materials (Starship Troopers, Alien, etc.) and each other. For instance, if you look at the original Tyranid designs there is very little resemblance to Zerg, but as time went on their designs became more 'Zerglike'.

IDK why i never commente,d but this came out before ironman 2 (when they did the whole armor assembly visual) bit not LONG before it, so i doubt ironman took inspriation from this, but who knows maybe it did.
