Lowko I love you, but please reconsider accepting sponsorships from Benetton, they actually are an (especially) evil corporation. Not going to bore you with details here, but the owning family basically stole land from south american tribes and caused the collapse of a bridge in Genoa that killed 43 people a few years ago.

Man that sponsor hit me with so much nostalgia, we used to go to benetton alot back then to buy almost all of our clothes,(we used to take 4 hour trips, the store was in another country, we used to go to restaurants/amusement parks after visiting the stores Edit:had written benaton instead of benetton cause we used to say benaton back then lol

How do you deal with massive amounts of tanks + marines + vikings as a zerg? 10 tanks, 20 marines with medivac support + 5 vikings (sometimes 1-2 widow mines)? They will usually hit around the 10 minute mark and I've never been able to overcome this and tap out. My scouting definitely needs to be better to figure it out before they hit that high amount of tanks but roach ravager or sling/bling /muta dies way too quickly because of the staggered tank placement (and marines for the mutas).

Hey Lowko, I was wondering what's going on with your hotkeys. At one point in this game you ctr4 your zerglings to replace your hatcheries. Is this on purpose? I'm a total newb, so I can't tell.

I’ve been getting games where it seems standard but then they mass hellion during the beginning game and get cyclones instead of bio or they mass hellion but instead of mech it actually IS just bio but with hellbats and tanks. Then there’s also a few games with really early ghosts or fake bio (fake stim upgrade) into mass Thor

Do not underestimate the power of scouting, having an overlord or overseer on a large loop around the map for constant scouting info would be a good idea, I once recently played a game vs terran mech where I was trashing my opponent. I had +3 +2 whilst my opponent doesn't have any upgrades, and was destroying every fight with hydra lurker viper. But I lost to a suprise battlecruiser transision, which killed all my tech and workers. I still had an army and with my phenominal upgrade lead destroyed 12 BCs for almost free, but was unable to kill any planetaries due to not having a big enough army and 0 workers to reinforce. My opponent made tanks as well so I couldn't get ontop of his production. Having just used my viper energy on the BCs I had one last ditch effort to win but the tanks destroyed my army which was forcing its way up a choke point. Do not underestimate scouting, or 12 BCs will destroy your main.

Question, out of curiosity - I see from your videos that a lot of times Zerg players like to burrow a single Zergling under expansion sites to deny the enemy a base. This works for a couple of seconds after the opponent arrives to expand, after which he gets in the detection, kills the 'ling and expands anyway (I'm not saying it's not useful - you get intel, the enemy wastes time/scans/APM/etc.). I'm curios why haven't anyone did this (or at least I never saw this done) - instead of burying one 'ling under the base site, bury 3-4 Banelings in-between the base position and the minerals? This way the opponent might expand without any knowledge of the trap, as he can build the base there with no hinderance, thus assuming that the Zerg player did not bury anything there, transfer the workers there, and boom, the entire mineral line is gone. Is there something about this plan that is too bad to do or some game mechanic that prevents this? Would be grateful to hear your answer :)
@yerbool
@yerbool 3 жыл бұрын
i saw some ladder guys start expansion with turrets and it would catch banelings beforehand. thus 1 ling is nt a big loss in comparison.
@glowyboi7175
@glowyboi7175 3 жыл бұрын
You need more than 4 banelings to kill a whole mineral line... so its a lot of gas to have away from your army which you might need to hold a push.

Don't forget with attack upgrades, higher damage units also can gain more than +1 damage output from each shot, tanks and tempests can gain +5 damage per attack upgrade for every shot, which is why getting armor upgrades vs terran mech or protoss is a waste of money in most cases.
