Activision Blizzard is owned by Microsoft Game Studios now, so it's up to them if they make a movie, TV show or even a new game. I did read online that the head of Xbox Gaming, Phil Spencer, wants an adaptation of StarCraft 1 & 2 for Xbox consoles at some point, as he is a huge fan of the games.
