Description:
An actual hard version of the Starcraft and Starcraft Broodwar campaigns by pochoman123. Unlike previous "insane" campaigns that lazily changed the AI script to insane, pochoman did a good job actually making the maps a decent challenge without having the AI throw 100 units at you 1 minute in.
He added scripted attack waves that can do decent damage if you don't prepare for it. He also made the bases better for macroing and added adequate resources (maybe a bit too much) on most maps. There are also more defenses for the AI so that you can't just a move with a 200/200 army and win. Most AI bases will also spawn additional units when you destroy the main hatchery/cc/nexus.
To compensate, most maps will allow you to make a hero version of the unit (often for 2-4x the base cost of the unit).
I highly recommend this campaign for those that find the original campaign too easy.
Commentary:
Final mission of the original campaign! It's actually easier than the previous level because you get access to two races and a lot of additional bases, so you can macro up a huge army of hero units, tanks, valks, and carriers and beat the enemy. When you get near the overmind yellow does spawn a large army of hero units that rush towards the center, so be careful of that.

The AI loves to send workers to build on expansions even if you're there, sometimes I find the AI actually building a hatchery next to my already built nexus lol.

@@hamsterkoster Oh yes, I'm aware of AI behavior like that, particularly the Campaign Insane AIs, which contain actual expansion scripts (like here), and Campaign Area Town scripts, which are just resource gathering scripts confined to a specific location. It's just hilarious seeing a 1v1 worker battle on a campaign scenario since it's not something you'd typically encounter.
