The second involving a mass arrival of zerg because Jimmy keeps the artifact near his favourite bar. How is Joey Ray still alive after all that? Joey Ray needs his own story, damn it!

+Zeratul to be honest? Not a clue. Nobody aside from some people within Blizzard know really, so all we can do is speculate as to what happened. Personally I think it is not too far fetched for Kerrigan to be alive considering the insane amount of power she had after merging with the Xel'Naga. As for her human for, considering she is/was Zerg, purity of essence, there might have been human essence left inside of her. Together with her newfound power it could be she used that power to give herself form in the appearence of a human. if she truly is a human? My guess is no.

Bomburino Kripperino UED returning as a major faction would only make sense after all the BS that's happened. (And Alark gets involved a smidget) Plus remember the swarm was decimated on ulnar and suffered additional losses in the void, so it will take time for them to really invade any one, especially if around them is the rebuild Dominion and the Unified Protos.

The zerg were uplifted and then their entire purpose was made to destroy the protoss, something like that. Now that their leaders know the truth, why would they stick to their old purpose? The way I see it, after Kerrigan left and became the God of Flaming Butts and Wings, the zerg were purposeless, and so it was left to the new queen to decide what they wanted to do.

And we can probably expect the UED to re-appear in Starcraft III, considering it is foreshadowed in some of the dialogue in Heart of the Swarm. The Tal'darim may also show up as antagonists again (dno lol), as well as renegade Zerg broods, given how it was also foreshadowed in the form of Kerrigan stating that she wanted her broodmothers as dangerous as possible.

I like to think Kerrigan was returned to her human form and was allowed to have a new life with Raynor, someone who sacrificed and lost everything in order to save the galaxy. When he remembered Zeratul's last words to him "You will hold her life in your hands" was an indicator that he was not only to protect and guide Kerrigan through the void, but a new life with her would be his reward once both of their jobs were completed

If Sarah died killing Amon, there would be some announcement about it in the Dominion news report, no way Mengsk or Matt or even Jim would allow such sacrifice to be unknown. and seeing how easy Sarah fractured Amon's head i bet she just rekt him to pieces and then went for a cup of coffee. as for the ending, Sarah is basically a God now. shes THE xel'Naga. she can do w/e she wishes from transforming to reshaping the universe, even creating "Growth of life in barrened planets". so she just shifts back into her human body and gives Jim the ending they both craved for so many years.

To have greater emotional effect, you have Jim going into Joey Ray's bar and the Caption reads 2 Days Later. As the counter increases and changes from days to weeks to months to years, you show Jim drinking, looking at his badge, looking at the photo of Sarah, and drinking again as he starts to waste away and have that transparent in the background as you see the events of what is happening superimposed over it: The alliance between the Dominion and the Protoss, the rebuilding of Aiur, the departure of the Tal'Darim, the rebuilding of Augustgrad, different promotions and research by Stedman and Swann, Overqueen Zagara taking over different worlds and populating them with the worldbuilder species...and a few scenes of Matt and Valerian checking on Jim to make sure he hasn't killed himself. As the counter reaches 2 years, THEN you have Kerrigan appear.

Alright. I always prefer happy ending after a long, harrowing story, especially for Raynor (what's with him having to off his buddy and his gf-turned-zerg). But this? No matter how I look at it, I can't accept it. So the Overmind tailored Kerrigan from the word go to oppose Amon. Okay, I can accept that. Kerrigan screwed Protoss' collective ass, only to be vindicated later because she was mind-controlled? Fine. Killing and corrupting millions (possibly billions) to get at Mengsk? Dude had it coming. But Kerrigan became God's (yes, capital G) equivalent? The f*ck?! Why not Artanis? Or Zeratul? Even Raynor is a better choice than her. This is the genocidal, omnicidal, possessive, maniac Queen of Blades, mind you. Sure, she got character development in HotS, but did that make her (monumental) sins just go poof? No. I know that I shouldn't be ranting, but this ending made me feel cheated. Feels like Kerrigan got no repercussions (her brief depression over Raynor's "death" doesn't count) whatsoever for all the craps she pulled in the previous games...

What disturbed me is why Ouros (*cough* Blizzard *cough) choosed Kerrigan? I mean, why not Artanis? Fits better with Protos' theme IMHO; a Protos leader transcends both races to lead them forevermore.

It is not that he chose here, Ouros actually made Kerrigen into a weapon and vessel to fight Amon. remember he was the one guiding Zeratul who in turn influenced Rainor in both saving her and not shooting her after her reinfestation, in addition through Zeratul he guided Kerrigen to become the Primal Queen, a being that has both Purity of Form and Essence because of her Psionic power rivalling and exceeding even the Protos and having the adaptability of the Primal Zerg. In essence he is a manipulative bastard, I would not be surprised if with how they wrote him into the story he was responsible for the Overmind creating the Queen of Blades

It means that since Kerrigan is now a Xel'Naga, she's regrowing a lot of extinct life that the corrupted Golden Armada destroyed. In the LotV campaign, Rohana had said something about Amon using the Golden Armada to destroy many worlds across the sector.

I really like the ending. Nice and happy. Now there's actually a kind of theory that doesn't give the happy ending like some players didn't want. There are spaces for theories because even on the wiki, under "Race" for Kerrigan it says, "Xel'Naga, formerly?" leaving it open for speculation. It goes like this, the ending cinematic where we see Amon getting hit by Kerrigan's beam didn't affect him, as we see nothing but yellow sparks fly while Amon is expressionless, unhurt. She notices that there is not much effect, so she must use an ability so powerful that it affects allies, kind of like a bigger, more powerful "Extinction" ability. In that case, before Raynor could react to Kerrigan saying, "Go, Jim... Go." he was ultimately killed accidentally by his very own... (girlfriend?(How does that work?)) While it is possible the Protoss and all of the other Raiders befell the same fate, I believe that some were already leaving the area and out of the 'blast zone' and, well, did not escape and were hunted down by Amon. Kerrigan was given all of a single Xel'Naga's essence, (one, mind you, that was trapped and imprisoned by another Xel'Naga) still wasn't strong enough to take on Amon, who had killed Xel'Naga before, and very many of them-at that (which I presume after he killed them, he took all of their essence, becoming more powerful.) I guess, somehow, there is an afterlife that they are able to peer down, or in some sort of way, look into the normal world as Raynor's just chilling in Joey Ray's bar for two years. (In Christian Heaven, I know that Heaven is just your idea of what gives you the most comfort, albeit a childhood home, current home, or wherever. So I'm guessing Raynor has a better feel of living just sitting in his favorite bar alone and drinking, rather than on the Hyperion.) Making this theory's ending to be quite sad as many ran into the howling dark and did not return. Similar to the UED's ending, a sizable force moved out and went to conquer, secured a few major victories, but all died, and not even one making it home to get word out.

I've a stupid theory about this. They both died in the battle. The final scene is not really at Mar Sara. Jim´s badge was left there by somebody else. Probably Matt. Mar Sara doesn't blindingly bright days. It's Raynor's final thoughts, as he remembers all his friends and companion said to him, moments before death. That's why Kerrigan is back to normal.

Another possibility is that Earth still exists, the UED may come out to check on DuGalle's "victory" so long ago. Once they find out they've been dead for years, they'll probably come in and try to take the Koprulu sector again. Might be hard considering there's an actual god that's going to protect them. But who knows.

Yeah as much as it rends my insides apart I'm pretty fucking sure Kerrigan dispersed into the universe or some shit like that and Raynor had a hallucination and just wandered off and died somewhere where hopefully he got to be with her. That's it. No miraculous survival of Kerrigan. As far as I'm concerned, because mother FUCK ambiguity, they're both dead. The stuff with the Protoss and Dominion definitely helps cushion that blow for me though.

The government's of earth are still going to be back they did not join the final battles in the three games so they might be getting ready to invade the dominion again and its possible the UED purposely did not help them so they would be to weak to fight back against the UED. I have played all 3 SC2 campaigns many times and my favorite is always Wings of Liberty. It was the best written and character driven story out of the 3. The following stories strayed to far from the original basis and became these gaudy cosmic mockery's of a great story. I'll never forgive the writer's for what LotV became.
