I was in Korea 2003 for WCG world championships for halo CE and was asked to team up with Grrr for a nation's match against russia. And man I let him down, he asked me to zero rush and not build one single extra unit, and stupid me built on extra mining drone. Git zero rushed myself right before my zerglings hatched as I was behind because of the extra drone build. Always felt bad to this day. Helmeted sevral minutes but lost cz of me

"no game has been popular for 5 years ", it's been almost 20 years and the game is still on ...
@Lamora21 Жыл бұрын
Pretty fucking far from popular though..
@myconpodship17 күн бұрын
@@Lamora21 it's a 25+ year old game. It's pretty amazing this is still going as hard as it is. With no outside money being pumped in it it's pretty obvious it's in a much better place than Starcraft 2 for instance, which was supposed to kill Broodwar off. Yet all the pros have returned, with current ASL/SOOP-Champ and GOAT candidate Soulkey being a prime example.

It's weird watching this. It looks so dated like it was filmed in the late 80s - early 90s. The clothes, hair, audio quality, etc.

There's no reaason anymore to have this debate. Both sides can argue all day long about what is and isn't a sport, the point is that SC has reached a level of exposure like other sports, at least in skorea.

About Giyom, no wonder he had to retire. He says it himself in the interview: the Koreans play 10-12 hours a day. He goes out whenever he feels like it, practices whenever he feels like it, and says he plays about 5 hours a day. How can he play 5 hours a day as a pro gamer when he played 10-12 hours a day on weekends when he was just a kid sitting at home? That's so backwards!
